The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 16

Erik Smith releases his Week 16 PPR fantasy football rankings ahead of your championship matchups.

Heading into the fantasy football finals, these rankings are more up in the air than ever. We have numerous injury situations around the league to monitor, so be ready to change your lineups at a moment’s notice. One thing is for certain, however, and that is the fantasy upside of Jalen Hurts. In his first two career starts, Hurts finished as the QB13 against a tough New Orleans defense, and then followed that up with a QB1 overall finish against the Arizona Cardinals in a shootout. Hurts has rushed for 169 total yards in his first two starts and gets a below-average Cowboys defense that he should be able to exploit. Hurts is a locked-in QB1 for the fantasy finals, and comes in as my QB5 overall.

For more of my thoughts on these rankings, check out the Sit/Start Podcast that will be released Wednesday night. For some playoff roster strategies, check out my Roster Strategy article from two weeks ago to help you stay one step ahead of your opponent. And check out our site’s Sit/Start article on Thursday for write-ups of every game. Best of luck this week in the finals, bring home a championship!
