The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 7

Erik Smith releases his PPR fantasy football rankings for Week 7.

Halloween has come early in the fantasy football world, and our rosters look like the final scene of a horror movie with injuries, bye weeks, and brutal matchups. This is a week that may require long-term planning when making roster moves — Should I drop the Bills defense on their bye to make room for a tight end that might score me five points? Am I still holding Russell Wilson through his injury when I need multiple starters for my lineup? Should I just punt this week and hope for a better Week 8? Luckily, we talked at length about these subjects in this Week’s Sit/Start Podcast, so please check it out and ask any questions you have on Twitter or in the comments.

Making the cover of The List this week is Jalen Hurts, who has been a rock solid top five quarterback all year, and was available in the later rounds of your drafts. If you punted the quarterback position for anyone else, you are likely kicking yourself right now, but it seems relatively clear at this stage of the season that Hurts was the optimal quarterback strategy. There are some red flags in the numbers for his dynasty value, but as long as he is the starting quarterback for the Eagles he is an every week fantasy starter.

Best of luck in Week 7 as you navigate your scary roster decisions!
