TE Rankings
- If Rob Gronkowski doesn’t play this week, I like O.J. Howard as a tight end streamer. Howard saw a 65% snap share and a 17% target share last week, on his way to six catches for 49 yards and a touchdown. with Antonio Brown also popping up on the injury report, we could be looking at back-to-back nice weeks from the talented Howard.
- Another desperation play is Ross Dwelley as he fills in for the injured George Kittle. Dwelley played 91% of the 49ers’ snaps without Kittle last week, and while it didn’t translate to the stat sheet, that was with Trey Lance under center. We look to be headed for a Jimmy Garropolo start in Week 7, which should increase the passing volume and efficiency a bit. Dwelley should luck into at least a few targets with that kind of usage.
