Now that we’re just a few days from Sunday, we finally have some clarity on our Week 11 quarterbacks.
Brock Purdy is set to return against the Cardinals. While that’s great news for the 49ers’ offense, it’s not exactly a soft landing. Arizona currently ranks top-10 against fantasy quarterbacks, and Purdy has been up-and-down in his career against this defense. Even though he averaged 20 fantasy points per game before the injury, I’d still be hesitant to throw him right back into your lineup. This feels like a “wait-and-see” week to make sure he’s fully back in rhythm. –Steve Pintado
We also learned that C.J. Stroud will miss Week 11, as he remains in the concussion protocol. That puts Davis Mills back under center after his surprising 30-point outing last week. Before you race to plug him into lineups, keep expectations in check. Yes, he gets a weak Titans pass defense, but I don’t expect Houston to play from behind or force Mills into another high-volume passing script. He’s more of a sleeper than a must-start, and a realistic projection is in the 18–20 fantasy-point range. –Steve Pintado
