What We Saw: Preseason Week 2

Week two of the preseason was up and down from an entertainment perspective. Some teams played their starters for parts of the game (Kansas City, New England, Pittsburgh), while others completely disregarded their starters and rolled out the backups from the opening snap (Detroit, Jacksonville, Chicago). It made for some pretty lame preseason football in some spots, but we sifted through the bad to pick out the good. Some players we were intrigued by this week:

  • Darren Waller looked like the Waller of old
  • Jahan Dotson and Zay Flowers both flashed
  • Sam Howell looked great
  • Tank Bigsby passed the eye test for Jacksonville
  • Trey Palmer caught another TD, opening a path for the WR3 spot in Tampa
  • Rashee Rice put up numbies
  • Keaontay Ingram rode a goat, or was ridden by a goat, or is a goat… something like that
  • Demario Douglas is gonna be HIM
  • Aidan O’Connell looked good again
