What We Saw: Week 15

New England lost themselves the #1 overall seed with their debacle in Indy

The story of Week 15 was a host of upsets by lesser opponents. We had the Colts, Steelers, and Saints all beating top playoff teams in the Patriots, Titans, and Buccaneers, respectively. We almost saw another one on Thursday night, too. Instead, the Chiefs took care of business in LA, while the Packers took care of business against a struggling Ravens team Sunday that, for now, has knocked them out of the playoff picture entirely. What a wild weekend.

For fantasy purposes, there really wasn’t much happening. Brandin Cooks torched the Jaguars and single-handedly won Houston their third game of the season. Meanwhile, former Texan Duke Johnson stepped up in a big way to replace three Miami RBs out with COVID and dominated the Jets all afternoon long. Yes, old friends Mark Andrews and Jonathan Taylor also put up monster games, but it really was a week of unsung heroes making noise while the studs didn’t go nuts. Or, at least, so far.

This is your reminder that, due to COVID, we have TWO games on Monday, one at 5 pm Eastern and the other at 8 pm Eastern, as well as two games on Tuesday which are both at 7 pm Eastern. An extra night of NFL football you say? Someone’s been nice this year.

It was a wild day of football across the league, and the What We Saw team has you covered for everything you missed. For the rest of What We Saw, check out the links above.
