What We Saw: Week 2

The What We Saw team recaps everything you missed from a crazy Week 2

What a day. After most of us were stuck with a slog of a game in Patriots/Steelers in the 1pm hour on CBS, it was a breath of fresh air when it finally flipped over to the crazy game in Baltimore between the Ravens and Dolphins. Tua TagovailoaTyreek HillJaylen WaddleLamar Jackson, and Mark Andrews were all stars on a day that desperately needed them. The only people who didn’t enjoy this game were the ones who had to face one of these guys in fantasy this week, and that’s okay.

Is the Lions’ offense legit? 30+ points in two straight weeks has me thinking it just might be. The Sun God is a star, and D’Andre Swift had a good day even on a bum ankle with decreased usage. If Jared Goff can continue to limit mistakes, he might wind up being a Top 10 QB this season.

There was plenty of action around the league, and plenty of games with little to no action as well. So it goes during the NFL season. Be sure to catch our What We Saw podcast, where Erik Smith and Ryan Heath recap this week’s takeaways and set you up for who to sit/start in our TWO Monday night games.

Additionally, if Dynasty is your thing, our own Adam Sloate publishes 5000+ words every Friday to prep you for the week’s College Football slate. It’s a must-read for any CFB fan or for anyone looking to get a head start on 2023 draft prep. Check out the Week Three Edition here!
