What We Saw: Week 3

The What We Saw team recaps everything you missed from Week 3

In what was billed as the “Battle of the Goats”, Aaron Rodgers and the Packers came out on top in their matchup down in Tampa Bay against Tom Brady‘s Buccaneers. Allen Lazard gets the featured graphic treatment today, not because he had a monster game (though 4/45/TD with a nice catch down the sideline is pretty good), but because this photo was just too good to not use. Green Bay’s offense was shut down in the second half, but it was nice to see Rodgers connect with Lazard and Romeo Doubs early and often. He will need to lean on them both moving forward if they’re going to make a deep playoff run this season.

Elsewhere around the league, Lamar Jackson did Lamar Jackson things up in Foxborough, Jalen Hurts continued his hot start to the season, and Trevor Lawrence looked like a stud against the Chargers. Click through the links above to catch up on everything you missed from another wild week of NFL action, and be sure to check out this week’s What We Saw podcast.
