The List: Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 4

PPR fantasy football positional rankings, including top 150 FLEX players, for Week 4.

It’s time for Week 4 of The List! You can expect positional rankings and top 150 FLEX rankings each week to help you win your fantasy football leagues!

Week 3 gave us a small reprieve from catastrophic injury, but it didn’t let us escape scot-free. Let’s take some time to dive into the most relevant injuries and what to look for if they miss.

  • The Steelers’ running back room got banged up this week, with both Najee Harris (arm/elbow) and Jaylen Warren (Knee/Hamstring) leaving this one at less than 100%. At the time of writing, Harris appears to be suiting up for Week 4. Harris has been less than spectacular for most of this season and is a low-end RB2 going forward. Even if Warren were to miss time, the ceiling for Harris in this offense is limited. Warren is a bit more of a mystery as we head into the middle of the week. His status will be one to monitor as we are not sure quite yet if he was pulled from last week’s game for an injury related to his preseason hamstring or not. If he does suit up, you can expect a reduced workload and a small bump on passing downs for Harris.

  • DeVonta Smith (Concussion) was the victim of an absolutely brutal hit on Sunday that knocked him out of the game. Smith is in the concussion protocol right now and is at risk of missing Week 4. It is one of the most significant injuries of the week as far as fantasy football is concerned. If Smith can suit up, he will be in the WR3 range with a tough matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. If he does miss this week, Jahan Dotson may get involved, but I would avoid any of the Eagles receivers and rely more heavily on Dallas Goedert and Saquon Barkley.

  • Sam LaPorta (Ankle) suffered what is believed to be a low ankle sprain. As one of the most highly drafted tight ends in fantasy football, we have to mention it, but all signs point to him suiting up and playing through the injury in Week 4. You can expect some limitations, but he still lands as my TE4 this week.

  • Trey McBride (Concussion) is in the concussion protocol. If he misses the game, Michael Wilson should see a nice bump as the big-bodied receiver opposite Marvin Harrison Jr. Check back on this one. If he plays, he is one of my favorite tight ends of the week against the Washington Commanders.
