The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 10

Erik Smith releases his PPR fantasy football rankings for Week 10.

Lamar Jackson continues his ascent up the real-life quarterback rankings as he develops as a passer, and that has certainly translated to fantasy football as well. Jackson comes in as the QB2 on the season (behind the immortal Tom Brady), and we can’t even ascribe much of this to luck. Jackson’s 5% touchdown rate through the air ranks 16th among all quarterbacks — contrast that to his insane 9% touchdown rate from his league-winning 2019 season. Jackson is taking his downfield shots this year, ranking second in Air Yards per attempt among all quarterbacks, so the passing touchdowns should increase, and his rushing output is as good as ever. Jackson paces the position with 600 yards rushing on the year, and only two other quarterbacks have even topped the 300-yard rushing mark this season. And again the touchdown luck should improve, as Jackson’s two rushing touchdowns rank as just the eighth-most at the position. Jackson is locked into the top of his position in both redraft and dynasty, and the scary part is we might not yet have seen his best stretch of football.

Check out my positional ranks and look for the Sit/Start Podcast on Thursday for more of my thoughts on Week 10’s toughest roster decisions. We’ve passed the halfway mark of the season, time to make that playoff push.
