The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 2

Erik Smith releases his Week 2 fantasy football rankings in time for your weekly waiver decisions.

TE Notes

  • Hopefully George Kittle is good to go with his knee sprain this week. If he plays, you are playing him. But it is just enough of a concern to lower him below the equally impressive Mark Andrews and Travis Kelce.
  • I love Hunter Henry this week, as a matchup against the Chiefs should pull the Chargers out of their shell. And if they insist on not throwing to Austin Ekeler, Henry will be the primary beneficiary. His Week 1 line of five catches on 8 targets for 73 yards was a great start to what I think will be a big year.

  • We all forgot about Jared Cook this offseason, but he had a productive Week 1, and now gets a reduced Michael Thomas and a great matchup against the Raiders. He could challenge for the top of his tier this week.
  • Noah Fant will regain the yellow tier next week, as he looked impressive against the Titans in the opener. I’m a bit worried about Drew Lock facing this Steelers defense, however, so let’s adjust our rankings in the meantime.

These are helpful, but are you going to bring back the ROS rankings? Those are even more useful.

    • Erik Smith says:

It was a lot for me to pull them both off every week. I’ll try to get an update though every few weeks. I wasn’t sure how helpful they were though, good to know!
