The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 5

Erik Smith releases his Week 5 fantasy football rankings in time for your weekly waiver decisions.

Coming off of a 15 target, 15 catch game, how could George Kittle not make the cover of the list? In a season where we have seen star players dropping like flies, it’s a welcome sight to see Kittle back on the field, even in a 49ers loss.

Speaking of injuries, the running back position is downright scary this week. If you’ve got more than one in the top 15, count yourself lucky. This may be a week to rely on wide receivers in your flex position, as the receiver position looks a little deeper, especially if we get a few stars back from injury.

Check out my Week 5 rankings below, and don’t forget to listen to our Sit/Start podcast and check out our Sit/Start article on Thursday, as there is still a lot to be determined rankings wise as we get the injury reports throughout the week.
