The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 6

Erik Smith releases his PPR fantasy football rankings for Week 6.

Injuries are rampant, bye weeks have begun, welcome to the true start of the fantasy football season, Week 6 is here!

The top of the running back position has been hollowed out with Christian McCaffrey, Dalvin Cook, Saquon Barkley, and Chris Carson all missing time with injuries, and it has allowed a new crop of running backs to rise up the ranks. While betting on rookie running backs has been dangerous recently (remember Clyde Edwards-Helaire at 1.07 last year?), if you made your stand on Najee Harris you have been handsomely rewarded thus far. The Steelers’ rookie has dominated snaps like no other running back in the league, let alone compared to other rookies, and he shows no signs of slowing down after posting his first 100-yard rushing game last week against a tough Broncos defense. The RB5 on a point per game basis, Harris has put more than put in the work to earn his first appearance on The List.
