Ravens @ Falcons
Final Score: Ravens 30, Falcons 23

Three Up
- Derrick Henry – On a night when the defensive units balled out, Henry still managed to put up the premier fantasy score on the night for an offensive player. Volume and big play ability in the red zone were the main reasons for his production. We love that for fantasy.
- Drake London – When Penix Jr. was in rhythm, London was the target…and the two combined at key moments to propel the Falcons to a big
victoryheartbreaking loss. London’s route running was the story as he consistently managed to get open against a strong secondary unit. - Kyle Pitts Sr. – there haven’t been many days to celebrate the underachieving tight end as a fantasy asset, so we’ll take this. His first score of the season was also combined with season highs in targets and catches.
Three Down
- Mark Andrews – a terrible night at the office for the veteran tight end, where everything that could go wrong did go wrong. He failed to impact for fantasy reasons too.
- Brian Robinson Jr. – after the last few weeks, fantasy managers can be forgiven for taking a punt on the running back in the flex spot. It didn’t work out this time around as Bijan’s running mate was held to just seven touches against a stout Ravens front.
- Zay Flowers – not a disaster, but not good either, especially for fantasy managers who hoped he could carry them to a win. He also had a 20+ yard catch chalked off for an accepted defensive pass interference penalty, which would have saved him from this list.
Baltimore Ravens
Quarterback
Tyler Huntley: 24/32, 201 Yards, 2 TD, 3 Sacks | 6 Carries, 20 Yards, TD
Despite playing pretty well in the first half, Snoop saw his offense falter at key times to come away with just nine points on six drives. Huntley moved nicely away from pressure to hit Rashod Bateman for a 19-yard grab late in the first half to keep the Ravens within touching distance. He had come under intense pressure from a smart Falcons defensive front who dialled up a number of creative schemes throughout the half. Huntley deservedly got his joy in the second half with two touchdown passes – the first was a dump-off to Henry, who rumbled in from 18 yards out before Snoop orchestrated a brilliant 6-play, 72-yard touchdown drive that included a dart to speedster Devontez Walker for a 7-yard score to force overtime. The Falcons gave him the ball, and another fantastic (time-sapping) drive from Huntley won Baltimore the game. The backup quarterback connected with Zay Flowers and Mark Andrews for third down conversions before punching the ball in himself from a yard out. A top performance from one of the league’s best backups!

Running Back
Derrick Henry: 24 Carries, 102 Yards | 2 Targets, 1 Reception, 18 Yards, TD
On a night that pitted the veteran “King Henry” against the upstart Bijan, it was the beloved fantasy back that showed his mettle with an impressive all-around performance. The Falcons defense played at a high level all night, but through sheer volume alone, Henry ran for over four yards per carry and established the run for Baltimore. After a breakaway run by Justice Hill at the start of the second half, Henry then took a dump-off from Huntley 18 yards into the endzone for his first receiving score of the season. Henry was also a difference maker in overtime, touching the ball seven times on what proved to be the game-winning drive. All hail!

Justice Hill: 4 Carries, 73 Yards | 4 Targets, 2 Receptions, 5 Yards
It was the unheralded Hill who kick-started the Baltimore offense early in the second half with a 47-yard run down the right sideline on a beautifully designed misdirection play that saw him line up at the fullback position in front of Henry. Hill nipped through a gap and streaked down the sideline and into the red zone before Henry finished the drive off a few plays later with a score.
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Zay Flowers: 9 Targets, 8 Receptions, 53 Yards | 1 Carry, 13 Yards
A strange night for Flowers, who mainly saw short-to-intermediate passes outside of a 12-yard grab on a scramble play from Huntley late in the fourth quarter. He also took an end-around for 13 yards to salvage some fantasy relevance with approximately 14.6 PPR points. Not the WR1 numbers we want to see from Flowers, but with Lamar still out injured, it was always going to be an issue for him to produce. He didn’t really see any red zone action of note apart from two catches that brought the Ravens inside the Atlanta 20-yard line.
Rashod Bateman: 6 Targets, 5 Receptions, 52 Yards
A non-factor for much of the game, Bateman came alive with three catches on the game-tying Ravens drive late in the fourth quarter. After smart catches for 11 yards and 7 yards, it was a 20-yard catch-and-run into the red zone that proved to be his key contribution – Bateman caught the ball with his back to the end zone but sent Mike Hughes the wrong way before ploughing into contact for extra yards. He’s made some huge plays this season and despite low volume, the skillset is there, and he is trusted in this offense when the game is on the line. He also added another red zone grab in overtime.
Mark Andrews: 6 Targets, 4 Receptions, 28 Yards, Fumble (Lost)
The big tight end had already let a ball through his hands on third-and-goal at the Atlanta 3-yard line on the opening drive of the game on a play that should have been a touchdown when he allowed the Falcons to punch the ball out of his hands on a catch over the middle that safety Jessie Bates returned 36 yards for a defensive score to give Atlanta the momentum swing. A horrible night for the tight end continued in the second half with a missed opportunity to catch a two-point conversion pass from Snoop, but he couldn’t haul it in under pressure, and the Ravens continued to trail by two. He did make some amends with a third down conversion on a simple catch late in the game.
Devontez Walker: 2 Targets, 2 Receptions, 9 Yards, TD
The 2024 4th-round pick has been a steady, if not unspectacular, contributor for the Ravens in his career, and he has probably been underused despite already outplaying his draft value. He only caught two balls, but the second was a clever spinning catch to the outside of the defensive back in the endzone on a great throw from Huntley with less than a minute left in regulation. Walker beat his man on the route before readjusting to the outside to haul in the pass. A nice grab.

Atlanta Falcons
Quarterback
Michael Penix Jr.: 19/32, 240 Yards, TD, 3 Sacks | 2 Carries, 8 Yards
You have to feel for Penix Jr., who was excellent in the second half of this game and did more than enough for his team to win the game. After a defensive masterclass from both teams in the first half, the returning Falcons quarterback found a rhythm with his receivers late in the half to execute a lovely 9-play, 78-yard drive to give the Falcons an eight-point lead. His ability to stay calm in the pocket and allow his receivers to develop their routes bore fruit on throws through multiple levels. The highlight was a beautifully flighted pass to Jahan Dotson for 36 yards down to the Ravens’ 6-yard line. After the break, he seemed to have settled into a groove, and another impressive drive ended in a field goal to put his team up two scores. Everything seemed to change on a bad play call on fourth down on the next drive that gave the Ravens the ball back and ignited their comeback. Penix Jr. was blitzed more often, and the Falcons offensive line failed to adapt quickly enough. That failure to protect the quarterback resulted in a huge hit to his blindside that forced him out of the game with what was called a rib injury. He remained on the sideline but played no part in overtime. It was a shame for the resurgent Atlanta quarterback.

Tua Tagovailoa: 2/3, 34 Yards, INT
Entering the game after Penix Jr. exited with an injury, Tua executed a nice throw to Bijan down the line, but when he returned in overtime, he threw a dreadful interception where he basically stared down London for so long the defensive back knew for 3 seconds where the ball was going. A terrible throw.
Running Back
Bijan Robinson: 17 Carries, 86 Yards | 7 Targets, 4 Receptions, 32 Yards
After a sensational couple of outings from a fantasy perspective, Bijan came back down to earth in what was a tough night for Atlanta’s run game. Off the back of two multi-touchdown games, it was always going to be a difficult task against Jesse Minter‘s defense. The Falcons went three-and-out, four-and-out, three-and-out before finally sustaining a drive late in the first half. This impacted Bijan’s touches and made running mate Brian near obsolete. Bijan did manage one highlight run down the left sideline before being stuffed twice inside the Baltimore 10-yard line by swarming Ravens linebackers. It was clear that the Ravens had planned to single out Bijan in the red zone as the main threat. Smart! He found more joy in the second half with the Falcons getting into a rhythm, but still he was held in check around the red zone. Volume saved his fantasy day from being tragic, but the potential loss of Penix Jr. would bring more unease this week.
Brian Robinson Jr.: 7 Carries, 16 Yards | 1 Target
Wide Receiver/Tight End
Drake London: 11 Targets, 7 Receptions, 118 Yards
My main issue with London in this game has nothing to do with his performance; he was outstanding in all aspects. However, Head Coach Kevin Stefanski decided to dial up a trick play to an offensive lineman in the red zone rather than giving the touchdown-barren London an opportunity to be impactful where it counts. It’s frustrating, as he has all the traits to be the go-to guy yet he isn’t when the Falcons get down near the goal line. London consistently won at all levels, and his work on the outside was particularly impressive against the Ravens’ press corners. He was Penix’s preferred option on third down, and he delivered at key times on scoring drives, none more so than on the touchdown drive in the fourth quarter that put Atlanta in the driving seat. London went over 100 yards receiving for only the second time this season, but we need to see him pop up in the red zone more to get our fantasy worth.
You’d be hard pressed to find an NFL QB that trusts a WR more than Michael Penix Jr. w/ Falcons WR1 Drake London pic.twitter.com/6xjUcb7sW4

Jahan Dotson: 4 Targets, 2 Receptions, 54 Yards
The former Eagle made two impactful catches in this game at key times, and his involvement in the offense was substantial with a heavy route share. A 36-yard grab from a dime from Penix Jr. was the throw and catch of the night. With 3-4 targets per game, Dotson looks like a boom-or-bust flex option with only one score to his name through five games. However, the potential is there.
Kyle Pitts Sr.: 6 Targets, 5 Receptions, 42 Yards, TD
The fantasy world isn’t a friend of Pitts after years of misery, but he showed his capabilities with two early catches before cropping up in the red zone to haul in the first touchdown of the game late in the first half. Penix Jr. looked to be throwing to the receiver in front of Pitts, but the ball sailed over him, and the tight end found himself in prime position to make the grab in front of his marker. We’ll take it!
