After missing one game due to injury, Michael Penix returned in Week 9 to face the Pats and became the first quarterback to toss three touchdowns against them this season. It was one of his best fantasy performances of the season, but he wasn’t very efficient. Penix went 22/37 for 222 yards, completed less than 60% of his passes, and threw for fewer than 250 yards for the fourth time in seven starts. He had a strong enough showing to be a solid superflex starter facing the Colts, but he’s a risky start in 1QB leagues. Indianapolis allows the 12th most points to the position, but has held the past two quarterbacks faced (Cam Ward, Aaron Rodgers) to under 300 yards and one score. –Jay Felicio

Jaxson Dart threw for under 200 passing yards for the third time in his last four, but that doesn’t really matter when you have a rushing touchdown in nearly every game. The rookie had his fourth straight game with/ a rushing touchdown, his fifth in his last six games, and his second straight start without a turnover. Dart completed 73% of his passes, but that number is a bit deceiving considering 60% of his pass attempts were under 10 yards. His rushing prowess gives him a nice, safe floor, and while his ceiling isn’t quite what it could be with a healthy Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo, it’s still high enough to consider him a top 12 option. I was hesitant to start him in 1QB, but Dart proved to me that he’s a must-start in all formats for the remainder of the season. Facing a Bears defense that just gave up four touchdowns and nearly 500 passing yards to 40-year-old Joe Flacco, Dart is pushing close to the Top 5 for Week 10. –Jay Felicio

Week 10 brings some big-name tight ends on bye, including Travis Kelce and Jake Ferguson, and we also just lost Tucker Kraft for the season with an ACL tear. That means we’re looking for some reliable fill-ins — and Dalton Schultz stands out this week. Schultz gets a Jaguars defense that has allowed the second-most fantasy points per game to tight ends this season. If you watched what Brock Bowers did to them last week, you can only hope Schultz gives you even a third of that production. Jacksonville has allowed a tight-end touchdown in four of the last six games, and Schultz has posted at least 60 yards in three of his last four. He’s one of the best bye-week replacement tight ends for Week 10. –Steve Pintado

With Kraft out, former 2nd-round pick Luke Musgrave gets the starting role back. The matchup, however, is rough — he draws the Eagles, who allow the third-fewest fantasy points to tight ends. Philadelphia has allowed just one TE to top 45 yards and only one TE touchdown all year. Musgrave should be on the field more, but don’t expect the same workload Kraft saw — we could see more funneling toward the receivers in Week 10. –Steve Pintado

A start/sit note: I prefer Theo Johnson over T.J. Hockenson this week. Johnson has quietly become a big part of Jaxson Dart’s passing attack, putting up double-digit fantasy points in four of his last six games. He faces a Bears defense in a game that could turn into a shootout, so volume should be there. On the flip side, Hockenson has struggled with J.J. McCarthy under center, seeing just 10 total targets across McCarthy’s three starts. Baltimore is strong against tight ends, and Hockenson simply isn’t a top priority in this offense right now. He’s still a name, but volume + matchup puts him at major risk. –Steve Pintado
