The List: Ranking Each Position for Week 7

Erik Smith releases his Week 7 fantasy football rankings ahead of Thursday Night Football.

WR Ranks

  • It was great to see Julio Jones back and healthy last week, and he rewarded fantasy managers with eight catches for 137 yards and two touchdowns. He unlocks this whole Falcons offense, and landed on the cover of Week 7’s The List for his efforts. He is back to being a weekly WR1.
  • Michael Thomas and Emmanuel Sanders are both out this week for the Saints. Tre’Quan Smith becomes an interesting streaming option, but I wouldn’t go overboard and would still start the established lead receivers over him. Deonte Harris and Marquez Callaway become interesting deep league streamer options and DFS dart throws, but I wouldn’t look at them in your typical redraft leagues.

  • I’m knocking down these Buccaneers wide receivers until I see a little more passing volume from Tom Brady, and with this defense rolling, I’m not sure when that will come. Mike Evans and Chris Godwin are both solid top-25 options, but I’m not ready to lock them into WR1 status like I was at the start of the year.
  • I still love Diontae Johnson if he is healthy, but I know that he has burnt you in two straight games leaving early with an injury. I would still be rolling him out there if he’s good to go, however, as the Titans have allowed the fifth-most passing yards on the season. I’m more concerned with JuJu Smith-Schuster, who has been on the field but just hasn’t produced, and his targets have been very close to the line of scrimmage.

New to the QB List, will your rankings be updated to reflect the Mixon status? Thanks
