Quarterback
Sam Darnold: Streaming Option
In his worst game since Week 5 against the Jets, Sam Darnold had a rough go against the Jaguars in what should have been a smash spot, as they were allowing the most fantasy points to opposing QBs entering the game. Minnesota did win an ugly game by the score of 12-7, and Darnold was not a positive factor in that outcome. He completed 24 of 38 attempts for 241 yards, zero touchdowns, and three interceptions.
He’ll look to get right against a Titans defense that just held Justin Herbert to just 164 yards and one touchdown pass. There’s some streaming appeal here, but it’s probably best to look elsewhere in Week 11.
Running Back
Aaron Jones: Start, RB2
Cam Akers: Sit
Despite a chest injury scare in the 3rd quarter, Aaron Jones returned to action without real limitation and finished the day with 88 scoreless yards on 17 carries, adding two receptions for 13 yards on three targets. Jones hasn’t found the end zone – on the ground or through the air – since Week 7. He only has two rushing scores on the season and one receiving touchdown, which is keeping him on the RB2 trajectory week over week. You’ll want to monitor his practice reps the rest of this week, but assuming he came back with the game on the line, one would think he’ll be fine for Week 11.
Cam Akers’ 13 carries tied for his season-high dating back to Week 4, but doesn’t have standalone fantasy value as long as Jones is on the field.
Wide Receiver
Justin Jefferson: Start, WR1
Jordan Addison: Sit
Chalk up Justin Jefferson’s Week 10 low output to Darnold’s poor showing. Jefferson was held to a season-low 48 yards as he caught five of his nine targets without finding the end zone. Jefferson hasn’t scored since Week 7, but his talent is too elite to even consider worrying right now, as he will continue to command targets; he has nine per game in each of the last three.
With the number of looks Jefferson gets every week, Jordan Addison has struggled to cement himself as a reliable WR2, both IRL and for fantasy. Against the Jags, he caught two of five targets for 25 yards and won’t be a recommended start this week against Tennessee.
Tight End
T.J. Hockenson: Start, TE1
Josh Oliver: Sit
T.J. Hockenson was the most productive of the Minnesota pass catchers in the win versus Jacksonville, catching eight of nine targets for 72 yards. As he continues to be acclimated back from his ACL tear, he’ll be a relied-upon target next to Jefferson and likely a set-and-forget option in an otherwise weak TE landscape.
Despite some recent success dating back to Week 8, Josh Oliver isn’t offering streaming value as long as Hockenson is back in the mix.
Tennessee Titans
Quarterback
Will Levis: Sit
Will Levis came back having missed the last three games from a shoulder injury and held his own from a fantasy lens. He completed 18 of 23 attempts for 175 yards and two touchdowns, adding 41 yards on the ground off five carries, although his second touchdown of the day came in garbage time.
All that said, in single-QB leagues, you can surely do better than Levis, and he should be left on the wire.
Running Back
Tony Pollard: Start, RB2
Tyjae Spears: Sit but monitor
Tony Pollard had his lowest carry count (nine) in the loss to the Chargers since he had only six against the Packers in Week 3. That was partly due to suffering a lower-body injury in the second quarter, as well as Tyjae Spears returning to action for the first time since Week 6. With his nine carries, Pollard had 44 scoreless yards, catching all four of his targets for 19 yards. Spears had seven carries of his own, rushing for 47 yards. Pollard is still the RB to have in your lineup, but Spears is most certainly a name worth rostering if this backfield lends itself to a committee ROS.
Wide Receiver
Calvin Ridley: Start, WR2
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: Sit
Calvin Ridley continues to be the target hog for the Titans, having no less than eight per game since Week 6. In the loss to Los Angeles, he caught five of nine targets for 84 yards, and two of those five went for touchdowns. The matchup this week is a favorable one, as the Vikings are allowing the most fantasy points to opposing WRs on the year, so continue to fire up Ridley with confidence.
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine had his four-game TD streak end and was only targeted three times against the Chargers. He will remain a waiver wire receiver.
Tight End
Chig Okonkwo: Sit
Chig Okonkwo remains an afterthought in the Titans’ passing game and is not a TE worth streaming.
