Los Angeles Rams
Quarterback
Matthew Stafford: Sit
Matthew Stafford failed to throw for a touchdown against the Dolphins, making it the fourth time this season he’s gone without a TD in a game. He enters Week 11 with a 9:7 passing touchdown to interception ratio, albeit he hadn’t had his top two WRs for the majority of the season, and his RB1 was doing all of the scoring in their absence.
That said, with only Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray on BYE, you may want to look elsewhere than streaming Stafford this week against a New England defense that just held Caleb Williams to 120 scoreless yards.
Running Back
Kyren Williams: Start, RB1
Blake Corum: Sit
Kyren Williams and the end zone have been at a standstill in recent weeks. He scored on the ground in every game from Week 1 through 7, but he hasn’t since; in Week 8, he did have a reception score against the Vikings. Chalk it up to game script, but Week 10 was his worst output of the season: 62 scoreless yards on 15 carries, but the 5 receptions for 20 yards saved him a bit in PPR leagues. The Patriots’ defense is allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to opposing RBs this season, which bodes well for Williams to continue his productive season.
Wide Receiver
Puka Nacua: Start, WR1
Cooper Kupp: Start, WR1
Demarcus Robinson: Sit
Puka Nacua picked up where he left off in Week 8, considering he was ejected in Week 9 after finishing with just one reception. In the loss to Miami last week, Nacua tallied 14 targets, catching nine of those looks for 98 scoreless yards. He’s healthy, he’s doing the most with his target share, and the hope now is that he starts to find the end zone.
Cooper Kupp caught all seven of his targets for 80 scoreless yards, and like Nacua, you aren’t worried about the volume and consistency; you now just hope he starts to hit pay dirt. And speaking of scoring, Demarcus Robinson, who had four touchdowns between Weeks 8 and 9, had just one catch against the Dolphins for 23 yards. He should be left on your bench.
Tight End
Davis Allen: Sit
Davis Allen may have caught five of six targets for 34 yards in the loss to Miami last week, but as long as Nacua & Kupp are on the field, the tight end position for the Rams essentially runs cardio for the duration of the games.
New England Patriots
Quarterback
Drake Maye: Sit
The Patriots relied on their defense to hold the Bears to just three points last week, and with that came a down game for rookie Drake Maye compared to his previous few games. He completed 15 of 25 attempts for just 184 yards through the air, with one touchdown and interception thrown. He also added 24 yards on the ground on four carries. He’ll look to be more involved against a Rams defense that just held Tua Tagovailoa to 207 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. Given that Murray and Mayfield are the only viable QBs on BYE this week, you’re likely to have better streaming options than Maye.
Running Back
Rhamondre Stevenson: Start, RB2
Antonio Gibson: Sit
There seems to be a common theme with Rhamondre Stevenson’s fantasy production in recent weeks. If he doesn’t find the end zone, he’s very pedestrian. Against the Jets and Titans in Weeks 8 and 9, he totaled four touchdowns – three on the ground and one through the air – which ultimately saved his fantasy days when you consider he only rushed for 64 total yards on 30 carries in that span. In the win versus Chicago, Stevenson turned another 20 carries into 74 scoreless yards, with one reception for three yards, good for 8.7 full-PPR points.
While you will continue to start him because the volume remains in his favor over Antonio Gibson, you will hope he can find the end zone, unlike De’Von Achane, who the Rams just held to 37 scoreless yards on 12 carries.
Wide Receiver
DeMario Douglas: Sit
Kayshon Boutte: Sit
Ja’Lynn Polk: Sit
There hasn’t been much to write home about with the New England wide receivers this season. DeMario Douglas was a name to watch coming out of the summer, but he has 356 yards and one touchdown on 39 receptions through Week 10. Kayshon Boutte’s career-high in receptions (four) came last week, and while rookie Ja’Lynn Polk caught Maye’s lone touchdown last week, it was his only target in the game. None of the Patriots WR’s should be in your lineup this week.
Tight End
Hunter Henry: Streaming Option
Despite the down week against the Bears, where he had one reception for 14 yards on four targets, Hunter Henry could get right against a Rams defense allowing the ninth-most fantasy points to tight ends on the season. Before Week 10, Henry caught 20 of 23 targets for 115 yards between Weeks 7 through 9. He hasn’t found the end zone since Week 6 – his only score on the season – but Maye leans on him plenty, which will keep him as a streamable asset in this offense.
