Green Bay Packers
Quarterback
Jordan Love: Start, QB1/2 Borderline
The last we saw Jordan Love ahead of Green Bay’s BYE, he completed 23 of 39 attempts for 273 scoreless yards and one interception in a 24-14 loss to the Lions. Love hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass since Week 7 and enters Week 11 with a 15:10 passing touchdown to interception ratio on the season. The Bears’ defense is actually the toughest matchup for fantasy QBs this season, allowing just an average of 12 points per game to the position per FantasyData.
Per StatMuse, Love owns a passer rating of 129.3 with 561 yards and five touchdowns in two career games versus Chicago, so he’s seen success against this team before. He’s on the QB1/2 borderline based on conflicting factors with his upside and a tough matchup.
Running Back
Josh Jacobs: Start, RB2
Emanuel Wilson: Sit
Chalk it up mostly to game script, perhaps, but Josh Jacobs saw his second-fewest carry count of the season against the Lions with 13, in which he rushed for 95 scoreless yards in the loss to Detroit. FantasyData has him ranked as the RB14 in full-PPR formats this season, and will remain on a path for RB2 outputs week over week. Chicago just held Rhamondre Stevenson to 74 yards on 20 carries last week.
The last time we saw Emanuel Wilson, he found the end zone against the Lions, but he will remain fantasy-irrelevant this week. He’s a solid handcuff to hold.
Wide Receiver
Jayden Reed: Start, WR2
Romeo Doubs: Sit
Christian Watson: Sit
Dontayvion Wicks: Sit
The Green Bay WR room is one of the more crowded ones across the league. Jayden Reed appears to be the only name worth starting in your lineup every week. Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs, and Dontayvion Wicks can be rostered, but it’s hard to trust any of them until they show consistent signs of life.
Reed is the only Packers receiver to amass 100+ receiving yards this season, having done so three times. Watson has had at least six targets in each game between Weeks 8 and 9, but the yardage is low, and he hasn’t scored since Week 6. The same can be said for Doubs, and Wicks is the weakest link of ’em all.
Tight End
Tucker Kraft: Start, TE2
Against Detroit, Tucker Kraft caught four of six targets for 34 yards, which was the second-highest in the game for Green Bay. With names such as Trey McBride and Cade Otton on BYE, Kraft will remain a streamable tight end this week.
Chicago Bears
Quarterback
Caleb Williams: Sit
In his worst game since Week 1, Caleb Williams and the Chicago offense laid a dud against one of the worst teams in the league, falling to the Patriots 19-3 at home. Williams completed 16 of 30 attempts for 120 scoreless yards, adding 15 yards on two rushes. The Bears offense has been poor since coming off the BYE in Week 8, and Williams has had zero touchdowns in that span.
News broke Tuesday morning that OC Shane Waldron was fired, and Thomas Brown is expected to take over as the new Bears offensive coordinator. Before the elevation, Brown was in his first year as the Chicago passing game coordinator and will now have the tall task of righting the ship for the hopeful franchise QB in Williams. All that said, leave him on your bench in single-QB leagues this week against a Packers defense that allows the 12th-fewest points to opposing QBs on the season.
Running Back
D’Andre Swift: Start with caution, FLEX
Roschon Johnson: Sit
D’Andre Swift was productive in Weeks 8 and 9 but then came crashing down in Week 10 against the Patriots. He turned 16 carries into 59 scoreless yards, also catching his lone reception for six yards. Green Bay is middle of the pack against the run this season, allowing the 18th-most points to opposing fantasy RBs this season.
The reason to side with starting Swift this week has to do with teams on BYE around the league. Backs such as James Conner, Chuba Hubbard, Tyrone Tracy Jr., and Rachaad White need replacing, so Swift retains starting value in most leagues. He’s worth a start to see how he fares under Brown, who served as the Panthers OC in 2023 and gave Chuba Hubbard a healthy share of carries.
Wide Receiver
DJ Moore: Sit
Keenan Allen: Sit
Rome Odzune: Sit
Three’s a crowd, and they’re all a sit this week. The reality is, even with a new OC in place, it’s hard to gauge who is going to get right this week out of DJ Moore, Keenan Allen, or Rome Odzune. It’s been anyone’s guess week over week with Waldron calling the plays. The best plan this week is to keep them on your bench, see how the new-look Bears shape up under Brown, and reflect on their Week 11 involvement ahead of a Week 12 date with the Vikings, who are a much leakier defense against WRs than Green Bay. If you must start one, Moore is the supposed alpha in this offense, so hopefully, Brown can find a way to unlock this sleeping giant in the passing game.
Tight End
Cole Kmet: Sit
Until the Bears’ offense looks any different post-Waldron, Cole Kmet can be left on your bench or even the wire, even though the Packers aren’t strong against TEs this season.
