Los Angeles Rams

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford: Streaming Option, QB2

Matthew Stafford has performed better since getting his top two receivers back and has another chance to return streaming value against the Saints in Week 13. New Orleans is surprisingly stingy against QBs, allowing the ninth-fewest points to the position. Still, with three dominant weapons at his disposal, Stafford has a great chance to throw for multiple TDs once again. He’s my QB15 on the week, making him a good stream if your primary starter has a difficult matchup in single-QB leagues.

Running Back

Kyren Williams: Start, RB1
Blake Corum: Sit

Kyren Williams has caught a bit of a fumbling bug but has still maintained the lion’s share of backfield work for Los Angeles. He broke his touchdown drought in Week 12 but failed to record a single target for the second straight week–a particularly concerning development. We’re ranking Williams as a low-end RB1 this week based on volume and likelihood to score, but if these trends continue, he may tumble down into our RB2 ranks for PPR leagues next week. Blake Corum remains a solid hold in dynasty leagues, but hasn’t received enough opportunities to warrant starting.

Wide Receiver

Puka Nacua: Start, WR1
Cooper Kupp: Start, WR1

The only two Rams pass-catchers you need to worry about starting are both elite WR1 options in Week 13’s matchup. Puka Nacua has looked the part of a dominant alpha WR1 the past few weeks, making him the higher-upside option as Stafford’s top target. He has at least seven catches and 98 yards in each of the past three games. If he can get in the end zone, there is WR1 overall potential for the BYU product. Cooper Kupp‘s yardage totals haven’t been as prolific as Nacua’s, but he’s scored three times in the past two weeks and the Rams consistently look his way in the red zone. He’s a mid-to-low WR1 option until further notice.

Tight End

Sit All

As stated above, Nacua and Kupp are the only options in the passing game to consider for the Rams. Leave these tight ends on waivers and out of your lineup.

New Orleans Saints

Quarterback

Derek Carr: Sit

The upside simply isn’t there to recommend starting Derek Carr this week, especially with Taysom Hill mixing in for snaps at QB. You should look elsewhere this week, even in Superflex leagues.

Running Back

Alvin Kamara: Start, RB1

One of the safest floors in the league thanks to his pass-catching role and workload, Alvin Kamara once again is a strong RB1 option in Week 13. It would be nice to see Kamara find the end zone for the first time since Week 6, but he should handle 20+ touches coming out of the bye week. Start him with confidence as a high-floor, high-ceiling play.

Wide Receiver

Marquez Valdes-Scantling: Desperation FLEX

He can’t keep getting away with this. MVS has recorded two straight productive outings thanks to some long touchdown scores. He is nothing more than a desperation FLEX that you hope can find another long ball against a beatable Rams secondary. He may have the widest range of outcomes for any player in Week 13. All other Saints receivers should not be considered for your lineups.

Tight End

Taysom Hill: Start, TE1

Where do we even begin with Hill? The last time we saw him, he was busy scoring 40+ fantasy points against the Browns in Week 11. He’s truly impossible to predict in terms of production, but with the Saints stretched so thin at their skill positions, it might be easier to predict another big week for Hill. I’m confidently starting him as a high-upside “TE” this week once again.
