Green Bay Packers

Quarterback

Jordan Love: Start, QB1

Jordan Love returned last week and was able to put up an impressive performance in what was ultimately a loss for the Packers. Love was not without flaws, throwing three interceptions to a Vikings defense that leads the league in interceptions this season. That being said he did throw for four touchdowns and nearly 400 yards. Love is a surefire QB1 as long as he is healthy, and he goes into Week 5 as my QB4 on the week against a Rams defense that is allowing nearly 30 points per game.

Running Back

Josh Jacobs: Start, RB1

Emanuel Wilson: Sit

Josh Jacobs has been uninspiring so far this season. His efficiency has been up but ultimately it has brought average returns for fantasy football. The good news is he gets the Rams in Week 5 who just allowed D’Andre Swift to have the best game of his career. Fire Jacobs up this week and expect big returns for the former Raider. Emanuel Wilson will likely serve as the top option behind Jacobs. He is not someone who should be in your lineups, but in deep leagues, he is a nice bench stash as one of the few healthy players left if Jacobs were to go down.

Wide Receiver

Jayden Reed: Start, WR1

Donatyvion Wicks: FLEX Option

Romeo Doubs: Sit

Jayden Reed has been incredible this season —  averaging 138 yards and a touchdown — when Jordan Love has been healthy. While that streak is unlikely to continue, he is the top option for Love. That means good things for the second-year wideout. Expect Reed to see targets early and often in this one as the Rams have given up the sixth most points to opposing wide receivers this season. Dontayvion Wicks is primed for a big game this week while Christian Watson is on the mend. Wicks has all the peripheral metrics that tell us he should succeed in an expanded role. He is a solid route runner and probably the most complete of all of the Packers’ wide receivers. He also looks to be one of Love’s favorite targets in the red zone. Romeo Doubs is a sit for me this week but he could be used in a pinch as a FLEX option. Coming in as my WR42 this week, Doubs may see enough volume to keep him relevant, but his upside is limited. I would much prefer Wicks and Reed in Week 5.

Tight End

Tucker Kraft: Start, TE1

One bright spot for the Packers is Tucker Kraft, who has taken over as Green Bay’s top option at the position. In an offense that is looking for a reliable option behind Jayden Reed, Kraft could be the player who steps up. Finishing as the TE1 in Week 4, Kraft has seen his route participation increase every week this season, and he has seen at least a 15% target share in each of the last three weeks.

Los Angeles Rams

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford: Sit

Matthew Stafford should not be in fantasy lineups right now. The losses of Puka Nacua and Cooper Kupp make the path to success very narrow for a player like Stafford. He is a low-floor and low-ceiling option.

Running Back

Kyren Williams: Start, RB1

Kyren Williams had a strong week against the Bears in Week 4. He posted his most efficient game of the season on his way to over 100 total yards and a touchdown. The Packers are in the middle of the road against opposing running backs, but you can expect Williams to once again dominate touches out of the backfield in this one as he is the only thing working for the LA Rams right now.

Wide Receiver

Sit Them All

The reality is that the Rams’ offense consists mainly of players you are avoiding. For now, they are better left on your bench as we wait for this situation to sort itself out. Tutu Atwell, Jordan Whittingtonand Demarcus Robinson will all rotate from week to week. If you need a floor play, Atwell has posted two games with 5+ targets and 80 receiving yards. I wouldn’t necessarily expect him to continue this trend, but he is the “safest” of the bunch, it seems, for now.

Tight End

Colby Parkinson: Sit, TE2

I like Colby Parkinson as a strong option in TE premium leagues, as he should see the target volume to get you over the hump without Nacua and Kupp (five targets in Week 3, seven targets in Week 4). In non-premium leagues, Parkinson hasn’t shown the efficiency to give your team much value this week.
