Kickoff: Sunday, October 6, 2024, 4:25 ET

Location: Lumen Field, Seattle, WA

Network: CBS

New York Giants

Quarterback

Daniel Jones: Sit, QB2

Daniel Jones is only a viable option in 2QB leagues, and he is an erratic one even in that format. The volume is going to continue to be there, but the truth is Jones is just not an NFL-caliber quarterback. He will have his moments thanks to Malik Nabers, but assume that Jones is going to be a sit virtually every week.

Running Back

Devin Singletary: Start, RB2

Devin Singletary struggled mightly in Week 4 against the Cowboys. This is the risk with Singletary: he is a very solid RB2 for an NFL roster, but he doesn’t have enough to deliver week in and week out. It doesn’t help that the Giants’ offense is anemic at best, and if the name is not Malik Nabers, then you are hoping for a high floor, not a matchup winner.

Wide Receiver

Malik Nabers**: Start, WR1
Wan’Dale Robinson: FLEX Option

Malik Nabers is still in the early stages of the concussion protocol. It is a situation to monitor as replacing him will not be easy if he were to miss time. If he does in fact play, fire him up as a locked and loaded WR1 with a high floor. Wan’Dale Robinson has seen a higher than 20% target share in three of four weeks so far in this season and double-digit targets in two of those games. His average depth of target is below five, which means Robinson is not a game-breaker most weeks, but in full-point PPR leagues, he is bringing in tons of reception value and is making plays after the catch as well. The added value of Robinson here is if Nabers were to miss any time, you could expect him to see north of 35% target share as he did in Week 4. He’s a worthwhile free-agent pickup or sweetener to add on top of a trade coming your way.

Tight End

Sit All

Theo Johnson and Daniel Bellinger combined for one catches for six yards in Week 4. They are firmly off the fantasy football radar.

Seattle Seahawks

Quarterback

Geno Smith: Start, QB1

Geno Smith had another strong performance in Week 4, posting over 400 yards, a touchdown, and an interception. The Seahawks’ new offensive system has been great for Smith as it has allowed him to sling it while using his legs more than we have seen in years past. He currently has 50% of his rushing yard total from 2023. Smith is my QB11 this week against the Giants.

Running Back

Kenneth Walker III: Start, RB1
Zach Charbonnet: FLEX Option

Kenneth Walker III returned from injury and absolutely exploded in Week 4. He finished the week as the RB2 overall, scoring three touchdowns and giving us the best broken tackle that many of us have ever seen. Zach Charbonnet has been a rock-solid option while Walker has been out and will be a FLEX Option against the Giants in Week 5, he has yet to post less than double-digit fantasy points this season.

Wide Receiver

DK Metcalf: Start, WR1
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Start, WR2
Tyler Lockett: Sit

We NEED to talk about DK Metcalf. The new system in Seattle has been a godsend for Metcalf. He has always been among the most athletically gifted players in the league and an underrated route runner. In 2024, he is on pace for over 1,500 yards and 8.5 touchdowns. Even if he doesn’t quite hit these numbers, his 300 fantasy point pace is real, and his usage has been everything you want to see out of a stud wide receiver. His season-long pace would make him the WR4 last season. Buy high on Metcalf because he is a locked and loaded WR1 for the remainder of the season. Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Tyler Lockett have been a bit of a rollercoaster this season. They will continue to fight for targets behind Metcalf. JSN has been the target leader for two of those weeks, and Lockett has had one week at the top. Ultimately, I do not feel comfortable rolling out Lockett right now with any sort of confidence. I will take the highs and lows of JSN and hope that he can find his way to double-digit targets for the third time this season (A feat Lockett has not accomplished this season).

Tight End

Noah Fant: Sit, TE2

Noah Fant is firmly in the “touchdown or bust” category of TE streamers. There’s probably a better option somewhere on your waiver wire.
