Kickoff: Sunday, October 20th, 2024, 1:00 ET

Location: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana

Network: FOX

Miami Dolphins

Quarterback

Tyler Huntley: Sit

Tyler Huntley is one of the weakest options at QB in Week 7. His passing volume increased in his second game as the Dolphins’ QB, and there’s a chance things continue to improve this week, but the floor and ceiling are both so low that he’s better left on waivers. Tua Tagovailoa is the only Dolphins QB worth starting.

Running Back

De’Von Achane: Start, RB2
Raheem Mostert: Sit, RB4
Jaylen Wright: Sit, RB4

The fantasy stock of De’Von Achane was expected to be less impacted by Tua’s injury, but even the hyper-athletic running back has seen his value tank in this version of the Dolphins’ offense. Though he received a concussion in Week 5, the BYE week seems to have given Achane plenty of time to recover, and he is practicing in full for Week 7. The Colts’ defense is not good at defending the run, meaning that Achane still has RB2 value this week, while the other ancillary pieces of this backfield should be left on your bench for now.

Wide Receiver

Tyreek Hill: FLEX Option, WR3
Jaylen Waddle: FLEX Option, WR4

I wish I had better news for you when it comes to the fantasy prospects of the uber-talented Miami WR duo. The truth is, there’s just no upside for either Tyreek Hill or Jaylen Waddle in a Tua-less Dolphins offense. Hill and Waddle have reached a maximum of 69 and 46 receiving yards without Tua, respectively, and neither of them has found the end zone in that time frame. Hill obviously has the higher upside, but neither are fun plays with Huntley at QB.

Tight End

Sit All

If Tyreek Hill is not a recommended start in an offense, it’s impossible that one of the TEs in that same offense has a strong chance of being relevant. Sit all Dolphins TEs this week.

Indianapolis Colts

Quarterback

Anthony Richardson: Streaming Option

As of right now, it appears that Anthony Richardson will be the Colts’ QB in Week 7. Probably. Maybe. We think. Richardson is practicing “in full” for the matchup against the Dolphins, meaning both he and the rest of the Colts’ passing attack are risky options in Week 7. We know Richardson has immense talent, but he has yet to deliver it consistently at the NFL level. He is a great Superflex play due to his upside, but in single QB leagues, you should take a much safer option this week.

Running Back

Jonathan Taylor: Start, RB1
Trey Sermon: Sit*
Tyler Goodson: Sit**

As of right now, we have no clue what Jonathan Taylor‘s status is for Week 7. He didn’t practice on Wednesday, though there’s still a chance he will suit up against the Dolphins on Sunday. If he does play, he will be a locked-in RB1. If he doesn’t play, Trey Sermon will supposedly lead the backfield again, though he was incredibly inefficient in Taylor’s absence and is nursing a knee injury of his own. If neither plays, Tyler Goodson will be left to man the backfield by himself. Start him at your own risk.

Wide Receiver

Josh Downs: FLEX Option, WR3
Michael Pittman Jr.: FLEX Option, WR4
Alec Pierce: Sit

As of right now, only Michael Pittman Jr. knows what’s really going on with Michael Pittman’s back injury. Are you getting sick of the Colts’ injury questions yet? If Anthony Richardson plays at QB, it deflates the value of all Colts pass-catchers, though Josh Downs has shown the most consistent value on the field thus far. Downs would be a WR3/FLEX, while Pittman would be a WR4/FLEX in the same situation if he plays. If Richardson sits and Joe Flacco once again takes snaps at QB, both players would get a bump up a tier due to the increase in passing volume. Alec Pierce has had some big weeks but also showed us that his floor was in the basement last week. Don’t start him if you can help it.

Tight End

Sit All

Mo Alie-Cox is an awesome player with an awesome name. He is not fantasy-relevant, nor is any other Colts tight end.
