Las Vegas Raiders
Quarterback
Aidan O’Connell: Sit
Running Back
Alexander Mattison: FLEX, RB3
Zamir White: Sit
Ameer Abdullah: Sit
Founding Father Alexander Mattison had himself a strong fantasy performance in Week 6, catching five passes and scoring a rushing touchdown to finish with 17.50 fantasy points. Mattison has not been efficient on the ground, but the departure of Davante Adams means that there may be more targets to go around, and Mattison is the most likely RB to absorb those targets. He profiles as a weekly “meh” FLEX option for the foreseeable future.
Wide Receiver
Sit All
Jakobi Meyers is nursing an ankle injury and did not practice Wednesday. Tre Tucker posted a 0 last week with Adams on the sideline. None of the Raiders’ receivers are worth starting right now.
Tight End
Brock Bowers: Start, TE1
Rookie phenom Brock Bowers continues to be the lone bright spot in a sea of suck for Las Vegas. Bowers is commanding insane target volume for a rookie tight end. He’s the dynasty TE1 and is making a case to be the redraft TE1 rest-of-season as well. He’s the only Raiders player worth starting on a weekly basis.
Los Angeles Rams
Quarterback
Matthew Stafford: Sit, QB2
Matthew Stafford has one finish this year above QB22, and it was in Week 1 when the Rams’ offense was at full strength. Stafford should get one of his top weapons in Cooper Kupp back this week, but even then, he’s a low-upside play. Start him in Superflex leagues if you must, but there should be a better option on waivers for those of you in single QB leagues.
Running Back
Kyren Williams: Start, RB1
Blake Corum: Sit
Kyren Williams is one of the elite volume plays in a modern NFL where true workhorses are a rare breed. The Raiders are not an imposing defense, meaning Williams is once again set up to punch the ball in at any time and deliver RB1 value. Blake Corum is lurking somewhere behind Williams and is bound to earn a larger snap share at some point, but until we see it in action, he should stay on your benches.
Wide Receiver
Cooper Kupp: Start, WR1
Sit the rest
Cooper Kupp should finally return to your lineups in Week 7. And there was much rejoicing. Those of you who drafted Kupp are still within shouting distance of a playoff berth, right? …right?! Kupp should immediately command an immense target share in his return to action, making him a WR1 play instantly. The rest of the Rams’ receivers become shadows of a dream of a memory and can be banished to the shadow realm (waivers).
Tight End
Colby Parkinson: Sit
Colby Parkinson is a recommended sit as our TE19 this week, but as with any TEs in this range, it all comes down to whether or not he can find the end zone. I’m not betting on it this week.
