Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, September 13, 2026, 1:00 PM ET

Location: Nissan Stadium, Nashville, TN

Network: CBS

New York Jets

Quarterback

Geno Smith: SIT

Geno Smith is the best starting quarterback for the Jets since Geno Smith.

Under no circumstances should you be starting Geno Smith in fantasy.

Both can be true.

Running Back

Breece Hall: START, RB2
Braelon Allen: SIT
Isaiah Davis: SIT

Was anybody actually excited to draft Breece Hall this season? The extremely rough season for the Jets in 2025 leaves a sour taste in the mouth for any of their skill position players, but things should be better with a hypothetical improvement at quarterback. Hall is still a hyper-athletic back with plenty of upside, especially in a plus matchup against the Titans’ run defense. Fire him up as a solid RB2 in Week 1 and avoid the other members of this backfield.

Wide Receiver

Garrett Wilson: START, WR2
Adonai Mitchell: SIT

Omar Cooper Jr:: SIT

Geno Smith is definitely good news for the floor of Garrett Wilson this season, and the matchup against Tennessee is as well. The Titans allowed 19 touchdowns to wide receivers last season, fifth most in the NFL. I can’t put Wilson any higher than a WR2 until we see what this version of Geno looks like.

Tight End

Kenyon Sadiq: SIT
Mason Taylor: SIT

Neither Kenyon Sadiq nor Mason Taylor are on the streaming radar for fantasy.

Defense/Special Teams

New York Jets: SIT

Even with an implied game total under 40, the Jets defense is quite the dumpster fire and not an option for fantasy.

Tennessee Titans

Quarterback

Cam Ward: SIT

It’s tempting to toss out Cam Ward and this revamped offense against a Jets defense that allowed the most passing touchdowns per game last year, but I’m still in a “wait and see” approach with Ward.

Running Back

Tony Pollard: FLEX, RB3
Tyjae Spears: SIT
Nicholas Singleton: SIT

It’s a phenomenal matchup against the Jets, who allowed nearly 140 rushing yards per game and ranked near the top of the league in rushing touchdowns allowed per game, but there’s little upside with a low-scoring affair on deck and the meh-ness of the Titans backfield.

Wide Receiver

Carnell Tate: START, WR3
Wan’Dale Robinson: FLEX, WR4
Calvin Ridley: SIT

The hope here is that Carnell Tate and/or Wan’Dale Robinson can take advantage of the Jets defense that was quite friendly through the air, ranking 25th in yards per attempt and yards per target. Tate has the higher ceiling and wider range of outcomes, with Robinson the safer play.

Tight End

Gunnar Helm: SIT

Gunnar Helm is an interesting candidate for a second-year breakout, but you should have better options at the position for Week 1.

Defense/Special Teams

Tennessee Titans: SIT

Even with an implied game total under 40, the Titans defense is quite the dumpster fire and not an option for fantasy.
