The List: Fantasy Football Rankings for Week 1

PPR fantasy football positional rankings, including top 150 FLEX players, for Week 1.

  • The wide receiver position is absolutely loaded and continues to become more and more challenging to navigate when it comes to roster decisions. This week, we have almost every key fantasy player in the position. The only question mark is, of course, the guy most managers spent a top-eight draft pick on, Ja’Marr Chase. Chase is still holding in with concerns about a new contract. If he does, in fact, miss this week’s game, the wide receivers you need to know would be Andrei Iosivas and Jermaine Burton. Both are great stashes regardless of Chase’s week one status, and Iosivas is the current favorite to fill the Tyler Boyd-role for the Bengals, which has utility in deep leagues.
  • I want to highlight two players in week one: Christian Kirk (WR23) and Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR27). Both have a chance to lead their team in targets in week one. They are the best bets to outproduce not only their draft spot but even their current rank below. They also provide a safe floor in full-PPR leagues. Kirk returns to full health after a down season in 2023 and finds himself in a matchup where both teams should be posting high-point totals. JSN benefits from DK Metcalf drawing Patrick Surtain all game long, and it should be used in more dynamic ways in the Seahawks’ new offense. Both are on the rise this year, and that could start in week one.
  • In the final dart throw tier, some of my favorite names to hit in week one are Adonai Mitchell, Ja’Lynn Polk, and Wan’Dale Robinson.
