Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, October 26, 2025, 8:20 p.m. ET

Location: Acrisure Stadium, Pittsburgh, PA

Network: NBC

Green Bay Packers

Quarterback

Jordan Love: START, QB1

Jordan Love has thrown just one touchdown pass in three of his last four games, but is facing a Steelers defense that gave up a combined 692 yards and five touchdowns to Carson Wentz and Joe Flacco. I’m calling my shot here, B.I.G. week for Jordan Love ahead.

Running Back

Josh Jacobs: START, RB1

You don’t need me to tell you to start Josh Jacobs, but did you know he’s an avid gamer? He’s particularly skilled at “Call of Duty” and “Madden” and has even competed in gaming tournaments.

Wide Receiver

Romeo Doubs: START, WR3
Matthew Golden: FLEX, WR4

The once-crowded Packers receiver room may be down to just two viable fantasy options in Week 8, with Dontayvion Wicks setting up to sit out. Romeo Doubs has eight or more targets in three straight games and has become the team’s de facto WR1. First-round pick Matthew Golden has shown some flashes and easily has the most upside, but potential doesn’t count for fantasy points.

Tight End

Tucker Kraft: START, TE1

You don’t need me to tell you to start Tucker Kraft, but did you know he was a zero-star recruit coming out of high school? He had minimal college offers before walking on at South Dakota State and becoming an NFL Draft pick.

Defense/Special Teams

Green Bay Packers: SIT

The Packers have the second-fewest forced turnovers in the league with three.

Pittsburgh Steelers

Quarterback

Aaron Rodgers: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)

Possibly the pettiest person to ever play in the NFL, Aaron Rodgers claim that facing Green Bay isn’t a revenge game is about as believable as a Stone Cold Stunner. The Packers are a middle-of-the-road matchup, but have allowed multiple passing touchdowns in each of their past three games. I’m avoiding Rodgers in 1QB, but fire him up in Superflex.

Running Back

Jaylen Warren: START, RB2
Kenneth Gainwell: SIT

The Packers have held opposing running backs to the fourth-fewest fantasy points at the position, but Jaylen Warren handles enough of a workload both on the ground and through the air to make him a weekly RB2 regardless of matchup. Kenneth Gainwell is nothing more than a handcuff.

Wide Receiver

DK Metcalf: START, WR2
Calvin Austin III: SIT

DK Metcalf failed to get into the end zone for the first time since Week 1, and in turn had his first single-digit fantasy performance on the season. Green Bay has been stingy to opposing receivers, allowing just five touchdowns to the position and giving up a single 100-yard game to none other than George Pickens. You’re starting him, but temper expectations.  Calvin Austin is practicing and on track to play for the first time since Week 5, but he’s best left on the bench in a tough matchup.

Tight End

Pat Freiermuth: SIT
Jonnu Smith: SIT
Darnell Washington: SIT

Aaron Rodgers threw four touchdowns in Week 7, and all four went to the tight ends. You read that right. Pat Freiermuth caught two, Jonnu Smith and Darnell Washington both had one apiece. It was Frierermuth’s first game over 10 points this season, Smith’s first since Week 1, and Washington wasn’t able to get into double digits despite catching a tuddy. If you want to play tight end roulette, be my guest. But I’m not willing to start any Steelers tight end.

Defense/Special Teams

Pittsburgh Steelers: START

The Steelers’ defense has been one of the most inconsistent units this season, but it ranks in the top five in sacks and turnovers.
