Quarterback
Kyler Murray: Start, QB1
If you look at Kyler Murray‘s fantasy finishes throughout the season, it’s been a bit of a roller coaster for the dual-threat QB. In 10 games, he has four top-5 weekly finishes and three where he finished as the QB24 or worse. The number one predictor of Kyler’s production has been his rushing ability — in those three bust weeks, he had 14 yards or fewer on the ground. Per StatMuse, Murray averages 47.1 yards rushing against the Seahawks, which is about 10 yards above both his per-game average in 2024 and his career average. The Seahawks are a middle-of-the-pack defense when it comes to containing fantasy production from QBs, so if Kyler can find a little room to run and find the end zone, we could be looking at another boom week.
Running Back
James Conner: Start, RB1
Trey Benson: FLEX Option, RB3
James Conner remains one of the most consistent fantasy producers of the past few years, thanks in part to his massive workhorse role, but it’s worth noting that rookie Trey Benson has been eating into that workload ever so slightly over the past few weeks. Conner remains the clear preferred option in this backfield thanks to owning a larger piece of the pie and dominating the passing-down work, keeping him in the RB1 ranks this week against Seattle, who allow the eighth-most points to RBs. Benson is an intriguing FLEX option in a week plagued with byes, but in PPR formats, it might be best to hold Benson as a bench stash and play a higher-upside option in his place.
Wide Receiver
Marvin Harrison Jr.: Start, WR2
Michael Wilson: Sit
It has truly been a feast or famine rookie season for Marvin Harrison Jr., whose outcomes range from the WR1 overall to the WR115 in terms of weekly finish. Despite the inconsistency, Harrison is still a freak athlete and can put together a truly dominant showing. Sunday’s divisional matchup against the Seahawks, who allow the 10th-most points to receivers, is a great chance for Marv to show why he was taken as the top receiver in this year’s draft. Michael Wilson and the other Cardinals receivers should be left on waivers.
Tight End
Trey McBride: Start, TE1
Despite not scoring a receiving touchdown yet this season, Trey McBride has consistently found himself as a top-10 tight end on a weekly basis thanks to his strong target volume. Keep him in your lineups and reap the rewards when he’s finally able to find the end zone.
Seattle Seahawks
Quarterback
Geno Smith: Streaming Option
Geno Smith has essentially been a streaming option for the entirety of the 2024 season, and things won’t be any different in Week 12 against the Cardinals. With so many teams on bye this week, Smith is near the top of our streaming options this week (or a high-end QB2 in Superflex leagues). Smith’s ceiling isn’t incredibly high, but he’s carried with him a surprisingly safe floor in 2024, scoring below 13.4 points just once against the Bills.
Running Back
Kenneth Walker III: Start, RB1
Zach Charbonnet: Sit
It’s been a frustrating few weeks for Kenneth Walker III owners, though he did salvage his fantasy day in Week 11 by finding the end zone. Walker needs higher involvement in the passing game to reach the ceiling, and he may have a good chance to do so against the Cardinals in Week 12. Arizona allows 4.9 receptions per game to RBs and also allows 4.56 yards per carry to backs. It’s a good recipe for Walker to reach his ceiling both on the ground and through the air. He slides in as a solid RB1 in Week 12. It’s been a remarkably inefficient few weeks for Zach Charbonnet, and he’s seen only a handful of touches in that span. He’s merely a handcuff for Walker owners right now.
Wide Receiver
DK Metcalf: Start, WR1
Jaxon Smith-Njigba: Start, WR2
Tyler Lockett: Sit
The past few weeks have been a true coming-out party for sophomore receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba. In DK Metcalf’s absence and first game back, JSN has dominated the target share for the Seahawks, posting WR1 and WR9 finishes over the past two weeks. This week poses a tougher challenge for the former Buckeye, as he’ll work against one of the league’s better slot corners in Garrett Williams. JSN still has a chance to deliver, but we’re ranking him as a WR2, while Metcalf is a WR1 with softer matchups on the outside. Metcalf can always deliver on just one or two well-placed deep balls from Geno. Meanwhile, Tyler Lockett is far too risky a start at this stage of his career to place him in your lineups.
Tight End
Sit All
There isn’t a tight end worth starting or streaming on Seattle’s roster.
If Sam Darnold is not a must sit then why is he labeled “Sit”?
Why not label him “QB2”?
We base our rankings on single-QB leagues since they’re the most common, so any QB outside of our top 12 would technically be labeled a “Sit.” We try to provide some insight in terms of if they’re a viable streamer or start in SF leagues as well, but that’s our general process for that position!
