Kickoff: Sunday, October 5, 2025, 1 p.m. ET

Location: Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, IN

Network: FOX

Las Vegas Raiders

Quarterback

Geno Smith: SIT, QB2 (startable in Superflex)

The Chicago Bears’ defense doubled its interception total for the season after picking off Geno Smith thrice in Week 4. The Colts are a decent matchup, but it’s hard to start Smith in any format while he’s rocking a 6:7 touchdown-to-interception ratio and has thrown for fewer than 200 yards in half his games. Based on byes and injuries, you probably have to start him in Superflex. But he should be waiver fodder in 1QB.

Running Back

Ashton Jeanty: START, RB1

You member when Ashton Jeanty was a bust?

Well, not anymore! He rushed 21 times for 138 yards and scored three total touchdowns! He’s the first Raiders rookie to do that since some guy named Bo Jackson. The return of his upright stance brought the return of his upside. It’s a tough matchup against a Colts defense that’s yet to allow a 100-yard rusher. But Jeanty is a locked-in, every-week RB1 from here on out.

Wide Receiver

Tre Tucker: START, WR3
Jakobi Meyers: START, WR3
Dont’E Thornton Jr.: SIT

With the inconsistent play of Smith, both Tre Tucker and Jakobi Meyers are viable WR3s at best. With four teams on bye and a matchup against the Colts, the fourth-friendliest defense in fantasy to opposing wide receivers, that’s this week. It’s risky, but you could do worse.

Tight End

Brock Bowers: START, TE1

I can’t consider Brock Bowers an elite fantasy option at tight end until we see a big game or two with Pete Caroll at the helm. His target share hasn’t been awful, averaging about six targets per game. But that’s nearly three targets missing per game, and it’s making an impact on his stat line. The Colts have only allowed one touchdown to the position and given up over 50 receiving tards to a tight end once.

Defense/Special Teams

Las Vegas Raiders: SIT

The Raiders D/ST isn’t in consideration for fantasy in any format.

Indianapolis Colts

Quarterback

Daniel Jones: START, QB1

Daniel Jones had his worst game of the year in Week 4, but I’m not panicking yet. He should have had an 80-yard touchdown when A.D. Mitchell made an incredible catch, but fumbled before crossing the end zone. Considering his history, there’s understandable concern, but you’re starting Indiana Jones everywhere this week.

Running Back

Jonathan Taylor: START, RB1

You don’t need me to tell you to start Jonathan Taylor. But did you know he shares a birthday (Jan. 19) with legendary country music singer Dolly Parton?

Wide Receiver

Michael Pittman Jr.: START, WR2
Josh Downs: FLEX, WR4
Alec Pierce: SIT
AD Mitchell: SIT

The bounce-back season for Michael Pittman Jr. continues, as he saw a team-high 10 targets in Week 4 and scored his third touchdown of the season. He leads the Colts with a 24% target share and is the only receiver to catch a touchdown pass this season. Josh Downs is a borderline flex play with rookie stud tight end Tyler Warren nerfing his production.

Tight End

Tyler Warren: START, TE1

Nearing “fun fact” status himself, Tyler Warren is the TE4 on the season and a must-start regardless of matchup. The Raiders allow the fewest fantasy points to the position, but Warren’s involvement in the offense should offset the challenging matchup.

Defense/Special Teams

Indianapolis Colts: STREAMER (multi-week streamer)
