Kickoff: Sunday, October 18, 2026, 1:00 PM ET

Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

Network: CBS

Carolina Panthers

Quarterback

Bryce Young: START, QB1

Bryce Young bounced back bigly after his somewhat of a letdown Week 3 performance against the Browns. Young threw for over 300 yards for the second time this season and currently sits atop the ranks of passing yards per game. Philly hasn’t been able to get to the quarterback or force many turnovers (just six sacks and three total takeaways on the season thus far), meaning Young should continue his stellar start to the 2026 season.

Running Back

Chuba Hubbard: START, RB2

Arguably the best value of this past draft season, Chuba Hubbard is averaging 17 carries over his last three and nearly 20 fantasy points per game. The Eagles are a middle-of-the-road matchup and have only given up three touchdowns to running backs, but the volume keeps Hubbard a high-end RB2.

Wide Receiver

Tetairoa McMillan: START, WR2
Jalen Coker: START, WR2
Brycen Tremayne: SIT

The reigning rookie of the year has no signs of a sophomore slump. Tetairoa McMillan was WR1 in Week 4 (Carolina was on bye Week 5), is the WR4 in his last three games, and WR10 on the season. He’s locked in as a weekly start and should continue to eat against an Eagles defense that allows the fifth-most points to the position. The only factor that can cap Tet’s upside is the return of Jalen Coker. Both can co-exist, as the duo scored 10+ fantasy points in the two games both were active and healthy. But they snip the tip of each other’s ceilings, placing both in WR2 range.

Tight End

Darren Waller: SIT

I still can’t do it with Waller. The Eagles are a bad matchup, have yet to allow a touchdown to the position, and Jalen Coker is returning. In a smash spot against the Lions in Week 4, Waller brought in just 3 of 6 targets for 36 yards. There’s a chance he finds the end zone again, but if he doesn’t, you’re looking at a dud.

Defense/Special Teams

Carolina Panthers: SIT

The Panthers get to face a turnstile offensive line in the Eagles, but the way they’ve failed to stop the run or get to the quarterback, it isn’t enough to consider starting them. Carolina allows the fourth most total yards per game.

Philadelphia Eagles

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts: START (in Superflex), Borderline QB1

I’ve admittedly been down on Jalen Hurts this season for fantasy, and rightly so. But I’m willing to give him another shot against the Panthers in a top-10 matchup, and potentially getting back his top two weapons. The Panthers’ defense isn’t one that will be able to take advantage of a struggling Eagles offensive line that is down three Week 1 starters. Carolina has the second-lowest QB hit rate and among the bottom 10 teams in sack rate.

Running Back

Saquon Barkley: START, RB1
Dameon Pierce: FLEX

Will Shipley: SIT

Apparently Saquon Barkley is set to miss just one week with his hamstring issue. There’s nothing official as of the time of writing, but reports have surfaced that there’s a very good chance he’s able to suit up against the Panthers. Considering they’re a top-five matchup, allowing a league-high 5.4 yards per carry, you can fire him up as an RB1 and Dameon Pierce as a FLEX with or without Barkley in the lineup.

Wide Receiver

Devonta Smith: START, WR3
Dontayvion Wicks: FLEX
Makai Lemon: SIT

It sounds more and more likely that DeVonta Smith will return this week as well. But considering how poorly this offense has played and the difficult matchup, he’s no more than a WR3. Carolina has allowed the ninth fewest points and just one touchdown to the position. The return of Smith slides Dontayvion Wicks back to boom/bust FLEX status.

Tight End

Dallas Goedert: START, TE1

Should I say that Dallas Goedert is teetering on an every week start status? No. I shant. But he saw nine targets in his return from injury and has a top 10 matchup at the position. That’s about all you need these days for a TE1 designation in fantasy.

Defense/Special Teams

Philadelphia Eagles: SIT

Bottom five in both sacks and forced turnovers per game.
