Arizona Cardinals
Quarterback
Jacoby Brissett: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)
It’s quite the conundrum with Jacoby Brissett‘s matchup against the Rams. LA is allowing the 12th most fantasy points to the position and ranks in the bottom 10 in both sacks and takeaways per game. But they also hold opposing quarterbacks to 156.8 passing yards per game, second fewest. Brissett sports a league-worst 5.6 yards per attempt, but is top five in pass attempts with nearly 40 per game. The uneven matchup and play lands Brissett in Superflex start status considering the implied game total sits over 50 points at the time of writing.
Running Back
Jeremiyah Love: START, RB2
Tyler Allgeier: FLEX, RB3
Bam Knight: SIT
Jeremiyah Love is dealing with an ankle issue and was not practicing at the time of writing. If he were to miss, Tyler Allgeier would get the start and jump from a FLEX option to take over Love’s RB2 status for Week 6. The Rams are a middle-of-the-road matchup for running backs, but allow 42.6 receiving yards per game to running backs (third-most in the NFL).
Wide Receiver
Michael Wilson: START, WR2
Kendrick Bourne: FLEX, WR4
Jalen Brooks: SIT
With Marvin Harrison Jr. being shipped to Houston, Arizona’s top wide receiver is officially Michael Wilson. With a better matchup, Mr. Wilson and his 49 first-read targets would rank a bit higher than a WR2. But the Rams are a bottom-10 matchup and allow the fewest catches per game to the position. Kendrick Bourne appeared to be the biggest immediate beneficiary of MHJ’s departure in terms of workload, but he actually had his lowest snap share of the season at 49% in Week 5. Instead, it was Jalen Brooks who saw a huge jump from 5% in Week 4 to 53% in Week 5. Bourne is the one you’re starting as a desperation FLEX, but Brooks could be a sneaky add in deep formats.
Tight End
Trey McBride: START, TE1
Yeah, you’re starting Trey McBride. McBride has the same steady, inevitable feel as Freddie Freeman. Nothing about his game feels loud or complicated. He just keeps producing, and by the time you look up, he’s quietly ruined you.
Defense/Special Teams
Arizona Cardinals: SIT
They allow the most points per game in the league. Literally. The most.
Los Angeles Rams
Quarterback
Matthew Stafford: START, QB1
The reigning MVP has been much more inconsistent in 2026, but Arizona should help keep it going for at least one more week. The Cardinals are a top three matchup for opposing quarterbacks, inside the top 10 in both passing yards and total yards given up per game, and allow a league-high 32.4 points to opposing offenses per game. Matthew Stafford is chucking it a league-high 43 times per game and averages 314 passing yards per game, good for 2nd at the position.
Running Back
Kyren Williams: START, RB1
Blake Corum: SIT
Kyren Williams has officially entered every-week start status. Williams is second at the position with 6.6 targets per game and tied for first with 5.4 receptions per game. He’s also forcing defenders to miss at a high rate, ranking 2nd with .4 missed tackles per attempt. Blake Corum ripped off a few impressive plays against the Bills, but he’s seeing fewer than 10 opportunities a game and shouldn’t be started as more than a desperation FLEX, even in a plus matchup against the Cardinals.
Wide Receiver
Puka Nacua: START, WR1
Davante Adams: START, WR2
Konata Mumpfield: SIT
Whether or not to start Puka Nacua isn’t a lineup decision anymore. There’s a lot of José Altuve in his story. The prototype might not have screamed superstar from the start. But eventually the production gets so ridiculous that even his haters just admit, “yeah, I was wrong.” Davante Adams hauled in two touchdowns against the Bills and has 20+ point performances in two of his last three. Adams has a phenomenal chance to add a couple more in Week 6. Arizona has allowed 10 touchdowns to wide receivers (most in the NFL), and Adams is tied for third at the position with six end zone targets.
Tight End
Tyler Higbee: STREAMER
This feels really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, gross, but Tyler Higbee has three sraight games with at least five caches and six targets. He’s been over double digits in all three, and the most impressive part of it all is he’s accomplished the feat with getting in the end zone just once. Arizona is a top-five matchup, making this #neverhigbee truther break his Cardinal rule (see what I did there?). He’s a solid streamer for Week 6.
Defense/Special Teams
Los Angeles Rams: START
The Rams allow the third fewest total yards per game and face a Cardinals offense scoring just 21.6 per.
