Green Bay Packers
Quarterback
Malik Willis: Sit, QB3
You aren’t starting Willis, but he was able to show enough to support a few of the Packers players on offense, which was not something many were expecting.
Running Back
Josh Jacobs: Start, RB1
Emanuel Wilson: Sit
Josh Jacobs was a majority of the offense for the Green Bay Packers in Week 2. It wasn’t much of a surprise, as they were without Jordan Love against the Colts, but Jacobs still had an efficient day. He saw 32 carries and hit the 150-yard mark, which is very much on the table again in Week 3. The Packers have very little choice in the matter. Willis is being used as a versatile game manager, leaving Jacobs to be the primary engine of the offense. Marshawn Lloyd was injured in Week 2 and placed on injured reserve, meaning Emanuel Wilson will likely serve as the top option behind Jacobs. He is not someone who should be in your lineups, but in deep leagues, he is a nice bench stash as one of the few healthy players left if Jacobs were to go down.
Wide Receiver
Jayden Reed: FLEX Option
Christian Watson: Sit
Donatyvion Wicks: Sit
It was Dontayvion Wicks who found the end zone in Week 2, but it would be a fool’s errand to run him out in your lineups in Week 3. For the most part, all of the Packers’ pass catchers should be on your bench until Jordan Love returns. The volume is down, the quality is down, and the fantasy points are at an all-time low.
Tight End
Tucker Kraft: Sit
There needs to be more volume for the tight ends to get involved in the Malik Willis version of this offense. You weren’t starting Tucker Kraft with Love at the helm, and he should remain on benches with his backup taking snaps. The same goes for Luke Musgrave.
Tennessee Titans
Quarterback
Will Levis: Sit, QB3
Will Levis is currently must-see TV for all the wrong reasons. He remains off the fantasy radar in Week 3.
Running Back
Tony Pollard: Start, RB2
Tyjae Spears: Sit
Tony Pollard is the lead back in Tennessee right now, and with Spears injured, he could be a nice RB2 option for rosters that are reeling from injury. He has seen over 60% of snaps in each of the first two games and has also averaged five targets per game. We never know how long Pollard will be healthy, but in Week 3, he appears to be in for a potential BOOM game, as the Packers have let up over 100 yards on the ground to each of its opponents so far. Fire Pollard up this week; he is my RB18.
Wide Receiver
Calvin Ridley: Start, WR3/FLEX
There is really only one wide receiver who should be in your lineup decisions this week for the Titans: Calvin Ridley. Ridley was able to find paydirt twice last week and is Tennessee’s leading receiver for the season. Starting to build chemistry with Levis, Ridley rarely comes off the field (83% Snap Share). In Week 3, the Titans may not have to throw a ton to stay in the game, but Green Bay has let up over 300 yards to wide receivers this season, so a 100-yard performance is not out of the question for Ridley. The rest of the wide receivers are fighting for scraps and would need an injury to see starting lineups, and even then, the ceiling is rather limited.
Tight End
Chigoziem Okonkwo: Sit, TE2
Chig is seeing his snap share drop each week, which is not something you want to see from the third-year tight end. He is going to be the preferred option on passing downs, but that still provides minimal ceiling. The upside is always there, but it feels like this may be Jonnu Smith all over again. If you have been holding onto hope, it’s safe to move on to a player with more opportunity.
