Sit/Start 2024 Week 8: Reviewing All Fantasy Relevant Players in Every Game

Sit or Start recommendations for EVERY fantasy-relevant player in Week 8 of the 2024 NFL season!

Hello everyone! We apologize for this article being a day later than usual, unfortunately, our lead analyst Marco Enriquez had some technical difficulties on Wednesday night that essentially made it impossible to properly put out this article on Thursday. While a great Thursday Night Football game is now behind us, we do have a full slate of games still ahead of us, with plenty of question marks to try and sort through in our lineups. Whether we are trying to reconcile with the effects of players in new situations, players getting injured or coming back from injury, or even just the typical matchup data to parse through, this week certainly feels like a tough one when it comes to setting lineups.

With every team playing this week, we have more decisions to make than we’ve had since Week 4, and many of these decisions may come down to how some of these injuries shake out over the next few days. Ultimately, the name of the game right now is to make sure you stay on top of injury news that relates to your players, and make sure you know what your contingency plans are.

As always, you can check out Marco’s list of weekly rankings to complement these Sit/Start recommendations.

Some quick notes before you jump in:

  1. Remember, Sits/Starts and Rankings are not set in stone. They are tools to guide you, not rules to follow blindly. Use them to shape your own decisions and make the best lineup adjustments for your team. Good Matchups are great, but getting too cute can cost you the week. Ask yourself this: “Am I going to feel more tortured by benching player X and him going off, or not playing player Y?”
  2. Have fun, talk trash, and win your matchups. If you don’t, there’s always next week.

Let’s Dive in.
