Sit or Start recommendations for EVERY fantasy-relevant player in Week 8 of the 2026 NFL season!

Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, November 1, 2026, 1:00 PM ET

Location: Paycor Stadium, Cincinnati, OH

Network: CBS

Tennessee Titans

Quarterback

Cam Ward: SIT

Cam Ward ranks as the QB35 in fantasy points per game. There are 32 teams in the NFL.

Running Back

Tony Pollard: FLEX, RB3
Tyjae Spears: SIT
Nicholas Singleton: SIT

Tony Pollard went bonkers against the Browns last week, scoring three touchdowns and nearly matching the total from his previous four weeks combined. Even after the 30-burger, he’s a volume-based FLEX in an awful matchup. Avoid if possible.

Wide Receiver

Carnell Tate: START, WR3
Wan’Dale Robinson: SIT
Elic Ayomanor: SIT

Carnell Tate is a threat to go off any given week despite Ward’s horrendous quarterback play, thanks to the rookie’s elite athleticism and explosiveness. But Tate was not practicing at the time of writing due to a shoulder injury, and his status for Sunday is up in the air. He’s a weekly WR3 based on upside, but his floor is nonexistent. Wan’Dale Robinson‘s snaps are on a downward trend, and he’s scored less than six in two straight. He’s not in consideration for fantasy.

Tight End

Gunnar Helm: SIT

Gunnar Helm has 24 yards over his last three games, all last week, and Cincinnati hasn’t allowed a touchdown to the position all season despite allowing nearly 85 yards per game to the position. Keep scrolling.

Defense/Special Teams

Tennessee Titans: SIT

Cincinnati scores the fourth-most points per game and are 10-point favorites. No thanks.

Cincinnati Bengals

Quarterback

Joe Burrow: START, QB1

Yeah, you’re starting Joe Burrow. Apparently he’s also committed to the Joker bit. Bad outfits, worse intentions, and the opposing defensive coordinator usually leaves with a new origin story.

Running Back

Chase Brown: START, RB2
Samaje Perine: SIT
Tahj Brooks: SIT

Anybody know what the heck happened to Chase Brown? I’ve heard the “Samaje Perine is more involved” argument, but he has more than four touches in exactly two games. The real problem is his efficiency and lack of touchdowns. Brown’s actually averaging more touches per game in 2026 compared to 2025, but is averaging almost a yard less per carry and hasn’t gotten into the end zone since Week 1. He still has a healthy target share at 15.4%, sixth-most at the position, and makes for a solid buy-low candidate considering the volume hasn’t gone anywhere. Keep in mind that Brown has started slow in each of the past two seasons only to deliver league-winning performances in the second half.

Wide Receiver

Ja’Marr Chase: START, WR1
Tee Higgins: START, WR2
Dohnte Meyers: SIT

Starting Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins is an easy call. Reese’s cups are the perfect comp for the duo: chocolate and peanut butter were great on their own, then somebody put them together, and the rest is history.

Tight End

Mike Gesicki: SIT

Mike Gesicki is seeing three targets a game yet has five touchdowns on 13 catches. I think I’ll pass. You should, too.

Defense/Special Teams

Cincinnati Bengals: START

Cincinnati is tied for the most sacks per game, and Tennessee scores the second-fewest points in the league. Another delicious combo just in time for Halloween.
