Washington Commanders

Quarterback

Jayden Daniels: Start, QB1

Rookie phenom Jayden Daniels is having himself a season, and it doesn’t look like he’s slowing down. With the Ravens giving up the 4th-most points to opposing QBs, he’s set up to keep the good times rolling. Don’t overthink it—start him.

Running Back

Brian Robinson Jr.: Start, RB1
Austin Ekeler: FLEX Option, RB3/4

Brian Robinson Jr. is the definition of “steady Eddie” in the fantasy world. You can count on him for consistent RB2 production, and there’s always the chance he sneaks into RB1 territory if he finds the end zone. With Bye weeks keeping the likes of Kyren Williams and more out of your lineups, BRob lands at the end of my RB1 ranks this week. Flexing Austin Ekeler still sounds weird, but in deeper leagues, he’s worth considering due to his pass-catching ability. The ceiling may be limited, but his usage is surprisingly consistent. There are worse fill-ins to consider for your players on Bye.

Wide Receiver

Terry McLaurin: Start, WR2
Luke McCaffrey: Sit
Noah Brown: Sit

It’s hard not to like Terry McLaurin this week. The Ravens are giving up the third-most points to wideouts, which means he’s got WR2 written all over him with the potential for more. Not to mention that Jayden Daniels passed his first significant defensive test against the Browns with flying colors. I expect McLaurin to find the end zone this week. None of the other wideouts for the Commanders are reliable enough to warrant starting this week, however.

Tight End

Zach Ertz: Streaming Option, TE2

Zach Ertz is a roll-of-the-dice streaming option this week. The Ravens are allowing decent points to tight ends, and he’s seen enough targets to warrant consideration if you need a TE streamer in a pinch due to Bye weeks in Week 6.

Baltimore Ravens

Quarterback

Lamar Jackson: Start, QB1

What else is there to say? Lamar is averaging over 25 points per game, and the Commanders aren’t exactly scaring anyone. Start him, sit back, and enjoy the fantasy goldmine.

Running Back

Derrick Henry: Start, RB1
Justice Hill: FLEX Option, RB3/4

Derrick Henry is a steamroller, and the Commanders are standing in his path. Currently the RB1 on the season, Henry continues to be an outlier and defy Father Time. Don’t even think about benching him—he’s an easy top-3 RB this week. Behind Henry, Justice Hill is the definition of a dart throw this week. If you’re desperate for a FLEX, he could be an okay option based on his volume.

Wide Receiver

Zay Flowers: Start, WR2
Rashod Bateman: Sit

Zay Flowers has been a reliable target in the Ravens’ offense, and the Commanders are giving up 27.1 PPG to receivers. He’s a WR2 with upside this week. This projects to be a high-scoring affair, and Flowers stands to benefit. In full PPR leagues, you can expect high-end WR2 production.

Tight End

Isaiah Likely: Start, TE1
Mark Andrews: Sit, TE2

Isaiah Likely is a sneaky start this week. The Commanders haven’t been generous to tight ends, but he’s got a chance to make some noise, especially in the red zone. Last week, he was able to make a splash that many fantasy managers weren’t able to take advantage of, In Week 6, you should be able to roll him out and cash in. It’s hard to say this, but Mark Andrews gave us little reason to give him a shot this week. The Commanders are better against tight ends than you’d think, making him a low-end TE2.
