Indianapolis Colts
Quarterback
Joe Flacco: Sit, QB2
Joe Flacco’s back, but his fantasy upside isn’t in Week 6. The Titans aren’t pushovers on defense, so it’s best to leave him on the bench unless you’re desperate in a 2QB league. We are still awaiting more clarity on Anthony Richardson. I would expect him to sit for another week, but if he does play, he will fill in a similar range for the opposite reasons.
Running Back
Trey Sermon: FLEX Option, RB3
Jonathan Taylor is likely to miss this week as well, which means Trey Sermon will get another crack at starting running back. Sermon could sneak into flex consideration if the Colts commit to the ground game, but he’s more of a desperation play in deeper leagues. It doesn’t help that the Colts’ roster is falling apart more and more each week.
Wide Receiver
Josh Downs: Start, WR2**
Alec Pierce: Sit, WR5
Adonai Mitchell: Sit
Michael Pittman Jr.: Doubtful to Play
Josh Downs has emerged as a reliable option and should keep it rolling against a Titans secondary that’s had its fair share of struggles. Right now, there are questions about his availability, so it is a situation to monitor. If he does play, he’s a WR2 this week with upside if the Colts need to air it out, especially with the news of Michael Pittman likely heading to IR. Alec Pierce is better left on the bench this week. With questions at quarterback and a tough defense, it is looking more like a bust week than a boom one for the speedster.
Tight End
Sit All
There won’t be a player for you to ever consider this season at tight end for the Colts.
Tennessee Titans
Quarterback
Will Levis: Sit
Will Levis is more of a meme at this point than an NFL Quarterback. His team doesn’t seem to believe in him, and neither should you for fantasy purposes.
Running Back
Tony Pollard: Start, RB2
Tyjae Spears: FLEX Option, RB3
Tony Pollard is a reliable RB2 this week, with his usage keeping him steady in fantasy lineups. He’s got the talent to make something happen, and the Colts have allowed the ninth most points to opposing running backs (22.2). Tyjae Spears is a sneaky flex play in deeper leagues. He’s shown flashes, and if the Titans give him enough touches, he could deliver. But that may be a big IF.
Wide Receiver
Calvin Ridley: FLEX Option, WR3
DeAndre Hopkins: FLEX Option, WR4
Calvin Ridley is a boom-or-bust flex option, but the big-play potential is there. He could pop off with a long touchdown or leave you wanting more. The bad news for all the Titans pass catchers is that the Colts are limping into the week, and they may not need to throw the ball much. DeAndre Hopkins is still flex-worthy due to his role on the offense, but he’s not quite the elite option he once was. Expect WR3-level production with some upside if he gets a few extra targets.
Tight End
Chig Okonkwo: Sit, TE2
Chig Okonkwo hasn’t done enough to warrant starting consideration, and the Colts are pretty decent against tight ends. Better to look elsewhere.
