Arizona Cardinals

Quarterback

Kyler Murray: Start, QB1

Kyler’s been rock-solid this year with 18.7 fantasy points per game. Facing a Packers defense that can be generous to QBs, he’s got BOOM Week written all over him. Expect some mistakes, of course, but the fireworks are coming, especially if he gets those legs moving like he did last week in San Francisco.

Running Back

James Conner: Start, RB2
Trey Benson: Sit, RB5

Conner is a steady workhorse, and this week’s matchup is pretty juicy. The Packers are handing out fantasy points to running backs like Halloween candy (eighth-most), so roll with him as a high-end RB2 with RB1 upside. Let’s be real: Trey Benson’s playing time is about as reliable as a used car salesman’s promise. Even with a decent matchup, there’s just not enough volume here to get excited about.

Wide Receiver

Marvin Harrison Jr.: Start, WR1
Michael Wilson: FLEX Option, WR4

If you’re averaging seven targets per game, you’re always in the mix, and Marvin Harrison Jr.’s matchup against a Packers defense that’s letting receivers have their way makes him a WR1 lock. The key storyline with MHJ will be monitoring Jaire Alexander‘s status ahead of Week 6–if Alexander plays, it makes things tougher, but Harrison has the skills to deliver regardless. Opposite Harrison, Michael Wilson is a high-risk, high-reward type, but the Packers’ secondary is beatable. If you’re in a deeper league, he’s worth a shot as a boom-or-bust FLEX.

Tight End

Trey McBride: Start, TE1

McBride’s 30 targets this season show he’s Kyler’s go-to guy when it counts. He is even beating out Marvin Harrison Jr. when it comes to targets per game. The Packers aren’t exactly shutting down tight ends, so start him with confidence as a top-5 player at the position.

Green Bay Packers

Quarterback

Jordan Love: Start, QB1

Love’s been showing off that 21.8 PPG average, and he’s going up against a Cardinals defense that’s letting opposing QBs look like superstars. Fire him up as a no-doubt QB1 at home this week, and don’t look back.

Running Back

Josh Jacobs: Start, RB1
Emanuel Wilson: Sit, RB4

Josh Jacobs is still getting plenty of volume, which is half the battle in fantasy. His time is coming. The Cardinals allow the sixth-most points to opposing running backs, and that, combined with his dual-threat usage, keeps him a rock-solid RB1. After Jacobs, the Packers’ running backs leave you wanting more. Unless you’re trying to set a lineup that involves wishing upon a star, keep Emanuel Wilson on the bench. He’s not seeing the field enough to warrant consideration.

Wide Receiver

Jayden Reed: Start, WR1
Dontayvion Wicks: FLEX Option, WR3
Romeo Doubs: FLEX Option, WR4

Jayden Reed has been nothing short of spectacular this year, and with the Cardinals’ defense offering little resistance, he’s a top-tier WR1 this week and for the foreseeable future. Get him in your lineup and enjoy the show. Dontayvion Wicks, on the other hand, let down a lot of expectant managers last week with his drops. He is a deeper league FLEX option. He has 29 targets on the season, and while he’s not the flashiest pick, he has a decent floor with this matchup. Romeo Doubs is also in the mix as a FLEX play this week. He’s been a steady contributor and should see enough targets to make an impact, especially in deeper formats. The only real question for Doubs is if he can get on the same page as the rest of the team after his off-the-field distractions last week. His issues more than likely are due to Wicks seeing increased playing time at his expense.

Tight End

Tucker Kraft: Start, TE1

Yes, you read that right. Tucker Kraft is my TE1 once again. He is in a sweet spot with this matchup against a Cardinals defense that’s been pretty generous to tight ends. Expect Kraft to be a mainstay of the Packers offense going forward, and he is a potential top-five dynasty tight end as well.
