Kickoff: Thursday, October 10, 2024, 8:20 ET

Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

Network: NBC Peacock

Cincinnati Bengals

Quarterback

Joe Burrow: Start, QB1

Joe Burrow is looking like a top-5 QB again, and the Giant’s defense isn’t likely to slow him down. Expect him to air it out and put up big numbers as he finds his groove. Since Week 2, Burrow has not fallen below QB10 on any given week.

Running Back

Chase Brown: Start, RB2
Zack Moss: FLEX Option, RB3

Chase Brown should get plenty of touches and has the skills to make the most of them. He’s a strong RB2 play with some upside if the Bengals control the game. The one variable we need to monitor will be the availability of Zack Moss. Moss is a deeper league option who could sneak in a score if given the chance. He is, at the very least, going to be less than 100% in Week 6, and there is an outside chance he will miss the game entirely.

Wide Receiver

Ja’Marr Chase: Start, WR1
Tee Higgins: Start, WR2

Ja’Marr Chase is an every-week starter, and the Giants’ secondary won’t have any answers for him. Expect another big day from the Bengals, and Chase should be a favorite to be the top wideout of the week. Tee Higgins offers plenty of WR2 upside and is always a threat in the red zone. With the Bengals’ passing game picking up steam, he’s set up for a solid outing, especially if the Giants focus too much on stopping Chase. He was able to find the end zone twice last week, and while I wouldn’t bet on that happening again this week, a touchdown makes sense for Higgins this week.

Tight End

Mike Gesicki: Sit, TE2
Erick All Jr.: Sit, TE3

Both tight ends are being utilized right now, rendering them both completely unusable. All is my favorite to start taking on more work, but it may be a late-season push.

New York Giants

Quarterback

Daniel Jones: Sit, QB2

Daniel Jones is only a viable option in 2QB leagues, and he is an erratic one even in that format. The volume is going to continue to be there, but the truth is Jones is just not an NFL-caliber quarterback. He will have his moments thanks to Malik Nabers but assume that Jones is going to be a sit virtually every week.

Running Back

Tyrone Tracy Jr.: Start, RB2

The Giants may have found their next running back in Tyrone Tracy Jr. Tracy’s dual-threat capability makes him an intriguing RB2 play, especially in PPR formats. If the Giants get creative with his usage, he could deliver a sneaky-good fantasy performance. In his first full start, he wasn’t able to make a difference through the air, but he did enough on the ground that it didn’t matter much (129 rushing yards, 7.17 yards per carry).

Wide Receiver

Malik Nabers: Start, WR1
Wan’Dale Robinson: FLEX Option, WR3

Malik Nabers has been a target hog and remains a high-end WR1. He should return this week from a one-game absence due to a concussion and step right back into his heavy target-share role on the offense. He should see plenty of looks, especially when the Giants fall behind and need to throw. When it comes to Wan’Dale Robinson’s PPR value gives him a decent floor, making him a solid flex option in deeper leagues. He may not be a home-run hitter, but he can certainly chip away with consistent catches.

Tight End

Theo Johnson: Sit, TE3

In Malik Nabers‘ absence, Theo Johnson was able to secure all five of his targets for just shy of 50 yards. With him returning, it renders Johnson useless for fantasy football purposes.
