Kickoff: Sunday, November 16, 2025, 4:25 PM ET

Location: Empower Field at Mile High, Denver, CO

Network: CBS

Kansas City Chiefs

Quarterback

Patrick Mahomes: START, QB1

Patrick Mahomes is obviously a lock in your lineup, but did you know that he played college baseball at Texas Tech? He was a relief pitcher who appeared in three games and didn’t record a hit in his two college at-bats.

Running Back

Kareem Hunt: START, RB2
Isiah Pacheco

Brashard Smith: SIT

At the time of writing, Isiah Pacheco still isn’t practicing coming out of the bye and is poised to miss Week 11 versus the Broncos. That sets up Kareem Hunt to once again serve as the Chiefs’ RB1. It’s a difficult matchup against Denver, who allow the seventh fewest points to the position and has held every running back faced since Week 3 to 70 or fewer yards. Hunt’s a volume-based RB2 who has a good shot at getting in the end zone.

Wide Receiver

Rashee Rice: START, WR1
Xavier Worthy: FLEX, WR4

Hollywood Brown: SIT

You’re good to go with Rashee Rice as your WR1, but did you know his relationship with Patrick Mahomes was built before the draft? Mahomes invited him to his informal summer workouts in Texas because Rice played college football with Mahomes’ former backup QB. Since the return of Rashee Rice, Xavier Worthyand Marquise Brown have just one game over 10 points between them. If that wasn’t enough, Denver is the worst matchup for opposing wide receivers. Even without Patrick Surtain, Rice is the only safe start. Worthy is worthy of a flyer as a FLEX, but his floor is literally zero.

Tight End

Travis Kelce: START, TE1

Travis Kelce isn’t the dominant force he once was, but it ain’t hard to see he’s still an every-week TE1.

Defense/Special Teams

Kansas City Chiefs: START

The Chiefs are one of four teams holding opponents under 18 points per game.

Denver Broncos

Quarterback

Bo Nix: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)

Similar to Sam Darnold, Bo Nix has had some high highs in great matchups and some middling lows in tough ones. The Chiefs allow the 12th fewest points to quarterbacks and have held more quarterbacks without a passing touchdown (three) than they’ve allowed to throw multiple touchdowns (two). He’s starting in Superflex, but I’d start several quarterbacks ahead of him, including Joe Flacco, Aaron Rodgers, and Jordan Love.

Running Back

J.K. Dobbins
RJ Harvey: START, RB2
Tyler Badie: SIT

JK Dobbins is out at least Week 11 and likely much longer, as the Broncos debate placing the running back on IR after suffering a foot injury in Week 10 against the Raiders. RJ Harvey should step right into the RB1 role, but I’d expect Tyler Badie to be involved as well. Harvey is an upside RB2 but could find little room to run against a Chiefs defense allowing the sixth fewest points to the position.

Wide Receiver

Courtland Sutton: START, WR3
Troy Franklin: START, WR3
Pat Bryant: SIT

Since Week 7, Troy Franklin has had the highest target share in Devner by nearly 8%. Courtland Sutton still has the highest yards per route run, yards per target, and yards per reception, but Franklin has four touchdowns to Sutton’s one and more than triple Sutton’s targets inside the 20 (7 to 2) over that period. It’s become a bit of a WR1 and 1a situation in Denver. But against the Chiefs, who allow the 3rd fewest points to the position, both are WR3s.

Tight End

Adam Trautman: SIT

Nope-man.

Defense/Special Teams

Denver Broncos: START

The Broncos lead the league in sacks with 46. The next closest is 32.
