Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, November 16, 2025, 8:20 PM ET

Location: Lincoln Financial Field, Philadelphia, PA

Network: NBC

Detroit Lions

Quarterback

Jared Goff: START, Borderline QB1

Jared Goff has averaged 302 passing yards and thrown a total of five touchdowns in his past two games. It was reassuring to see him perform well away from Ford Field last week, but even with his recent play, he’s a risky start at Philadelphia. The Eagles allow the 11th fewest points to the position and have given up just three passing touchdowns in their last five games. I have him right on the QB1/2 borderline as QB12 in my weekly rankings

Running Back

Jahmyr Gibbs: START, RB1
David Montgomery: START, RB2/3 Borderline

There’s no question you’re starting Jahmyr Gibbs, but did you know that if he could pick any entrance music for an NFL game, he would choose “No More Words” by the wrestler Jeff Hardy? He says he’s a huge wrestling fan and the song is his go-to hype track. David Montgomery is still getting decent volume, but he doesn’t have the pass-catching work or game-breaking upside of Gibbs. Against the Eagles, who allow the 11th-most points to the position, Monty is on the RB 2/3 line, and you’re probably hoping for a touchdown to get a truly productive week out of him.

Wide Receiver

Amon-Ra St. Brown: START, WR1
Jameson Williams: START, WR3

We all know Amon-Ra St. Brown starts, but did you know his father added the “St.” to the family name because he thought it would look “cooler” and more unique on the back of a football jersey than simply “Brown”? You know what you’re getting yourself into, starting Jameson Williams. It may be the week to sit him against the Eagles, though. Philly is holding opposing quarterbacks to the third-lowest completion percentage of pass attempts over 20 yards. Still, with Dan Campbell calling plays and utilizing Jamo on more crossing routes instead of exclusively go routes, the floor feels a little more stable than in the beginning of the season.

Tight End

Sam Laporta: START, TE1

Sam LaPorta missed practice on Wednesday, and his practice status bears watching as the week goes on. But if he’s active, he starts.

Defense/Special Teams

Detroit Lions: START

The Lions have the third-most sacks in the league with 30.

Philadelphia Eagles

Quarterback

Jalen Hurts: START, QB1

No question you’re starting Jalen Hurts, but did you know he is an expert crawfish chef? He has claimed he is the “greatest crawfish cook in the game” and seriously wants to open a crawfish restaurant professionally when his NFL career is over.

Running Back

Saquon Barkley: START, RB2
Tank Bigsby: SIT

Saquon Barkley came back down to what is now his norm, tallying just 60 yards on 22 carries and chipping in three catches for 41 yards. At this point, you can’t consider him anything more than a high-end RB2, and he could disappoint again against Detroit. The Lions are the 2nd-worst matchup and have only given up one rushing touchdown to running backs since Week 4.

Wide Receiver

A.J. Brown: START, WR1
DeVonta Smith: START, WR2

“If you got me on fantasy, get rid of me.”

A.J. Brown

Yes, the quote is real. No, I won’t get rid of him. I know he has just three games over 10 points and only two over 20. But I just feel it in my bones that Brown gets the squeaky wheel treatment this week and goes absolutely bonkers. The Lions allow the eighth most fantasy points and give up the second most receiving touchdowns to the position (13). This is strictly a gut call. There isn’t anything particular that tells me AJB will go off this week. DeVonta Smith has 14 or more fantasy points in four of his last five and is startable as a WR2.

Tight End

Dallas Goedert: START, TE1

Dallas Goedert is getting dangerously close to gLoB territory. He’s still a borderline TE1, but he needs to get in the endzone to get into double digits.

Defense/Special Teams

Philadelphia Eagles: STREAMER

The Eagles are holding opposing offenses under 17 points per game over their last three.
