Miami Dolphins

Quarterback

Tua Tagovailoa: SIT

Things keep getting worse in Miami, and Tua Tagovailoa is having one of his worst seasons to date. He’s already matched his interception total from his 11 games played last season, throwing seven interceptions in just six. Things won’t get any easier this week against Cleveland, which allows the seventh fewest fantasy points to opposing quarterbacks, yet to allow a 300-yard passer, and holds 50% of quarterbacks to under 200 yards. Tua is unstartable in all formats.

Running Back

De’Von Achane: START, RB1
Ollie Gordon II: SIT

You don’t need me to tell you to start De’Von Achane, but did you know he was born in the same Texas town (Missouri City) as multi-platinum rapper and music superstar Travis Scott?

Wide Receiver

Jaylen Waddle: START, WR2
Nick Westbrook-Ikhine: SIT
Malik Washington: SIT

Averaging nearly eight targets per game over his last three, Jaylen Waddle has about as safe a floor as any receiver in fantasy right now. His upside is capped with the inconsistent play of Tua Tagovailoa and the struggles of the offense, but Waddle’s volume is enough to keep him in most lineups. Week in and week out, Waddle’s a solid WR2 with a chance at some mild spike weeks.

Tight End

Darren Waller: START, TE1

The volume wasn’t there for Darren Waller last week, but the red zone usage still was. Waller was the only Miami pass catcher to receive a red zone target and came down with one of three total targets for his fourth touchdown in three games. Considering the status of the tight end position in fantasy and his continued red zone usage, Waller remains a weekly TE1.

Defense/Special Teams

Miami Dolphins: SIT

Miami may be juuuuuuust a bit outside the 30-point-per-game threshold, allowing 29 per is enough for me to consider a defense an auto-sit.

Cleveland Browns

Quarterback

Dillon Gabriel: SIT

Dillon Gabriel has 89 pass attempts.
Dillon Gabriel has 51 completions.
Dillon Gabriel is completing 57% of his pass attempts.
Dillon Gabriel has 430 passing yards.
Dillon Gabriel is averaging 4.83 yards per pass attempt.
Cooper Rush is averaging 5.83 yards per pass attempt.

Running Back

Quinshon Judkins: START, RB1
Jerome Ford: SIT
Dylan Sampson: SIT

I may be a bit aggressive with my RB3 ranking of Quinshon Judkins this week, but Miami has allowed 330 rushing yards over the past two weeks to — checks notes — Rico Dowdle and Kimani Vidal.  Judkins has completely taken over this backfield and handles 71.8% of the team’s rushing attempts. He’s in a beautiful bounce-back spot against a Dolphins defense that gives up the fifth most fantasy points to the position.

Wide Receiver

Isaiah Bond: FLEX, WR4
Jerry Jeudy: FLEX, WR4

As poorly as Dillon Gabriel is playing, Isaiah Bond and Jerry Jeudy are more often than not recommended sits. In Gabriel’s two starts, Bond and Jeudy have combined for 20.9 total fantasy points. I recommend they sit.

Tight End

David Njoku: SIT
Harold Fannin Jr.: START, TE1

David Njoku picked up a knee injury in Week 6 and has yet to practice at the time of writing. But even if he’s able to suit up, Harold Fannin is the Browns tight end I want to start. Fannin set or matched career highs in targets, receptions, and receiving yards against the Steelers. If Njoku can play, Fannin becomes more of a borderline TE1. But if he’s out, Fannin is a must-start against Miami, who has given up three passing touchdowns to the tight end position in their last four games.

Defense/Special Teams

Cleveland Browns: START

Miami has the fourth most giveaways (eight) and ranks seventh lowest in offensive yards per game.
