Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

Network: FOX

Washington Commanders

Quarterback

Jayden Daniels: START, THE QB1

You don’t need me to tell you to start Jayden Daniels, but did you know he was born in the same hometown (San Bernardino, CA) as legendary actor Gene Hackman?

Running Back

Jacory Croskey-Merritt: START, RB2
Jeremy McNichols: SIT
Chris Rodriguez Jr.: SIT

If Jacory Croskey-Merritt fails to put up at least 10-15 fantasy points against Dallas, who just gave up 183 rushing yards to Rico Dowdle and allow the fourth most fantasy points to running backs, it may be time to decommission the Bill hype-train for good.

Wide Receiver

Deebo Samuel: START, WR1
Terry McLaurin: FLEX, WR4

Luke McCaffrey: FLEX, WR4

Deebo Samuel had just his second game under 17 fantasy points on Monday night versus the Bears, partially thanks to a nagging heel injury. He missed practice on Wednesday, but is still expected to suit up for the mouthwatering matchup against Dallas. He’s Wally Pipped Terry McLaurin as the team’s WR1, and remains a fantasy WR1 regardless of whether Scary Terry can return. McLaurin returned to a limited practice and has a shot to suit up in Week 7, but he reportedly could have limited snaps. He’s no more than a FLEX option if he’s active. Luke McCaffrey is becoming quite the deep threat for Washington, scoring his third touchdown in four games on a 33-yard bomb from Daniels. He’s a lottery ticket FLEX play you’re hoping connects deep with Daniels. Considering Dallas allows the most fantasy points to the position, the odds of that lottery ticket hitting something are better than most weeks.

Tight End

Zach Ertz: START, Borderline TE1

Zach Ertz has a touchdown and 5+ targets in three of Jayden Danielsfour starts. If Daniels is under center, Ertz is a decent start.

Defense/Special Teams

Washington Commanders: SIT

The Commanders have allowed over 330 yards of total offense in each of their past five games, over 350 total yards in four of their last five, and over 400 twice.

Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback

Dak Prescott: START, QB1

You don’t need me to tell you to start Dak Prescott, but did you know he grew up in the same area of Louisiana (Shreveport) as legendary Steelers quarterback and Pro Football Hall of Famer Terry Bradshaw?

Running Back

Javonte Williams: START, RB1
Jaydon Blu: SIT

You don’t need me to tell you to start Javonte Williams, but did you know he graduated from the same high school (Wallace-Rose Hill) as Steelers linebacker Alex Highsmith?

Wide Receiver

CeeDee Lamb: START, WR1
George Pickens: START, WR1* (WR2 if Lamb Returns)
Ryan Flournoy: : SIT
Jalen Tolbert: SIT

George Pickens is pretty darn close to “fun fact” status, and we all know CeeDee Lamb is already there. Lamb isn’t a lock to play in Week 7, but returned to a limited practice on Wednesday and reportedly has a good chance to play. If he’s starting for the Cowboys, he’s starting for your fantasy team. If Lamb is out, Pickens is a WR1. If Lamb is in, Pickens drops just a smidge to high-end WR2, borderline WR1 status.

Tight End

Jake Ferguson: START, TE1

You don’t need me to tell you to start Jake Ferguson, but did you know he was born in the same hometown (Madison, WI) as legendary comedian Chris Farley?

Defense/Special Teams

Dallas Cowboys: SIT

Dallas allows the second most points per game at 30.7.
