Kickoff: Sunday, October 19, 2025, 1 p.m. ET

Location: MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ

Network: FOX

Carolina Panthers

Quarterback

Bryce Young: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)

Yes, Bryce Young has five touchdown passes over the past two games and led the Panthers to an upset win over the Cowboys. But man, he has not looked good this season. Young has one game with over 200 passing yards and eight total turnovers (five interceptions, three fumbles lost). Even in a decent matchup against the Jets, he’s barely startable in Superflex.

Running Back

Chuba Hubbard: FLEX, RB3
Rico Dowdle: START, RB2* FLEX, RB3 if Hubbard returns.

Rico Dowdle dominated once again, totaling over 200 yards for the second straight game, and scored once again, helping the Panthers take out Dallas in his revenge game. His 473 scrimmage yards over the past two games set a Panthers record previously held by Christian McCaffrey. Treat Dowdle as a high-end RB2 until Chuba Hubbard returns, and even then, Dowdle has earned a massive role. If Hubbard can play this week, I expect at least a split backfield, with both being flex starts.

Wide Receiver

Tetairoa McMillan: START, WR2
Jalen Coker: FLEX, WR4

Xavier Legette: SIT
Hunter Renfrow: SIT

Tetairoa McMillan had his lowest target total this season, but he made them count! He finished with just three catches and scored the first two touchdowns of his career. He remains a WR2 with WR1 upside, but the low target volume is a concern. The touchdowns prove his ceiling, but could we see Andy Dalton before the season ends to give him better QB play? Jalen Coker nearly returned in Week 6 and is practicing in full ahead of Week 7. He was poised for a significant role in this offense before being placed on the IR, and if active, Coker’s a solid flex option.

Tight End

Ja’Tavion Sanders: SIT
Tommy Tremble: SIT

No Panthers tight end is on the fantasy radar, even in the deepest of leagues.

Defense/Special Teams

Carolina Panthers: SIT

The Panthers’ defense is averaging less than a sack per game and has five total turnovers.

New York Jets

Quarterback

Justin Field: START, Borderline QB1

Justin Fields had an absolutely brutal day in London. He finished 9-of-17 for a miserable 45 yards and zero touchdowns, with seven carries for 31 yards. The problem? He was sacked nine times! Fields was playing like a toddler not wanting to share his toys, holding the ball entirely too long, and facing relentless pressure all game. The Jets’ offense was disastrous, totaling 82 yards of offense with a net of negative-10 passing yards. Fields was off-target all game. I wouldn’t be surprised to see him benched and Tyrod Taylor relatively soon. Oh, and Garret Wilson isn’t practicing and is likely out.

Running Back

Breece Hall: START, RB2
Isaiah Davis: SIT

Breece Hall looked fine, but the offense was just putrid all day. He battled for 22 carries — elite volume — but only mustered 59 yards against a stout Broncos defense. He has the skillset of an RB1, but this disastrous offense is torpedoing his value. Isaiah Davis saw just 2 carries for 2 yards, plus a catch. Hall has the volume of an RB1, but check in as a volatile RB2 because this offense is busted. With the Jets winless and Braelon Allen on IR, the Hall trade rumors are stirring once again. Davis is absolutely worth stashing just in case a trade goes through.

Wide Receiver

Garrett Wilson
Arian Smith: SIT
Josh Reynolds: SIT

Garrett Wilson suffered a knee injury that likely keeps him out this week (and possibly more). As for the other Jets receivers for fantasy …

Tight End

Mason Taylor: SIT

Mason Taylor, who saw 25 targets and averaged four catches over his last three games, fell flat in Week 6, catching just one pass for 2 yards on two targets. Taylor is nothing more than a risky, matchup-based streamer.

Defense/Special Teams

New York Jets: SIT

Holding Denver to 13 points in London dropped the Jets’ points per game allowed under 30, but you can’t fool us, silly Jets.
