Game Info

Kickoff: Sunday, November 2, 2025, 4:05 p.m. ET

Location: SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, CA

Network: FOX

New Orleans Saints

Quarterback

Tyler Shough: SIT

I’m not starting the second-round rookie who couldn’t beat out Spencer Rattler against the defense allowing the sixth-fewest fantasy points to the position. Tyler Shough was named the Saints’ starter for the rest of the season by coach Kellen Moore, but he more than likely won’t make any starts for your fantasy team in 2025.

Running Back

Alvin Kamara: SIT
Devin Neal: SIT

It may be a tough pill to swallow, but even as the lead back, Alvin Kamara isn’t an every-week starter anymore. Since his 17-point game in Week 2 versus the 49ers, Kamara has scored fewer than 13 points in every game. The Rams have yet to allow a rushing touchdown this season, and only Derrick Henry has hit the century mark against them. I’m benching Kamara in the second-worst fantasy matchup for running backs. I can live with myself if he finds his way into the end zone.

Wide Receiver

Chris Olave: START, WR2
Brandin Cooks: SIT
Rashid Shaheed: FLEX, WR4

The Saints’ benching of Rattler for Shough could negatively impact Chris Olave if he’s not peppered with targets like he was with Rattler. Shough’s big arm should offset any lost target volume, but Olave’s floor could be lower than we’ve seen in the first half of the season. But that arm is good news for Rashid Shaheed, although he’s still just a volatile flex play.

Tight End

Juwan Johnson: STREAMER

Back-to-back games with at least seven targets and five catches, Juwan Johnson is a low upside streaming option.

Defense/Special Teams

New Orleans Saints: SIT

The Saints’ defense isn’t in consideration for fantasy.

Los Angeles Rams

Quarterback

Matthew Stafford: START, QB1

Matthew Stafford didn’t post video game numbers, but he delivered a clinic in surgical precision in Week 7 versus Jacksonville. He completed 21 of 33 passes for a meager 182 yards, but somehow racked up five touchdowns with zero interceptions. It was pure red-zone magic, proving sometimes you don’t need volume, you need perfection. Stafford’s deep ball was on point, and the play-action was flawless. He set the single-game international record with those five passing touchdowns.  Stafford’s in a phenomenal groove, riding a wave of 12 touchdowns and zero interceptions over his last four games. He’s a QB1 facing off against the Saints in Week 9. File that under must-start territory.

Running Back

Kyren Williams: START, RB1
Blake Corum: SIT

Kyren Williams is what he is. A plodding, unexplosive (not sure if that’s a word, but you get the point) running back who remains an RB1 thanks to getting volume in one of the best offenses in the NFL. Don’t believe me? Among running backs with at least 100 carries, Williams has the second-lowest explosive run rate (1.9%), averaging just 4.4 yards per carry, yet still handles 61.1% of the team’s carries. Williams is a borderline RB1 as long as Sean McVay continues to feed him.

Wide Receiver

Puka Nacua: START, WR1
Davante Adams: START, WR1
Jordan Whittington: SIT

No need to explain starting Puka Nacua, but did you know he was born in 2001, the same year the Snoop Dogg-led horror film “Bones” hit theaters? With or without Puka, Davante Adams is a must start, regardless of matchup.

Tight End

Tyler Higbee: SIT

Even if he catches three, you still must #BenchTheBee.

Defense/Special Teams

Los Angeles Rams: START

Over their last two games, the Rams’ defense has more sacks (11) than points allowed (10).
