Kickoff: Sunday, November 2, 2025, 4:25 p.m. ET

Location: Highmark Stadium, Orchard Park, NY

Network: CBS

Kansas City Chiefs

Quarterback

Patrick Mahomes: START, QB1

No need to explain starting Patrick Mahomes, but did you know he was born in 1995, the same year the sci-fi horror film “Species” unleashed an alien hybrid on the world? Given his spectacular play this year, it’s possible Mahomes is from another planet himself.

Running Back

Isiah Pacheco
Kareem Hunt: START, RB2
Brashard Smit: FLEX, RB3

Already the most valuable Chiefs running back in fantasy thanks to handling 66.7% of carries inside the five, Kareem Hunt is elevated to RB2 status with Isiah Pacheco expected to miss Week 9. The matchup is fantastic, with the Bills allowing the sixth-most points to the position and giving up five rushing touchdowns over their previous four games. Seventh-round rookie Brashard Smith is in line for extra work as well, and could be a viable flex option if he gets work in the pass game.

Wide Receiver

Rashee Rice: START, WR1
Xavier Worthy: START, WR3

Hollywood Brown: BORDERLINE FLEX
Juju Smith-Schuster: SIT

Obviously, start Rashee Rice, but did you know he was born in 2000, the same year “American Psycho” introduced the chilling Patrick Bateman? Both Xavier Worthy and Hollywood Brown have taken a step back with the return of Rice. In a bad matchup against Buffalo, Worthy is a borderline WR3 and Brown a borderline flex.

Tight End

Travis Kelce: START, TE1

Congratulations to Travis Kelce for catching his 100th touchdown against the Commanders, but don’t expect a repeat performance. He goes from one of the friendliest matchups for tight ends to one of the worst. Buffalo has shut down opposing tight ends, allowing just one touchdown to the position and holding all but Hunter Henry under 45 receiving yards. He got 46.

Defense/Special Teams

Kansas City Chiefs: SIT

The Chiefs’ defense has been stellar this season, but have forced just nine turnovers, and Buffalo is averaging just under 30 points per game.

Buffalo Bills

Quarterback

Josh Allen: START, QB1

Needless to say, Josh Allen is a must-start, but did you know he was born in 1996, the same year Tim Burton‘s alien invasion comedy “Mars Attacks!” hit theaters?

Running Back

James Cook III: START, RB1
Ty Johnson: SIT
Ray Davis: SIT

James Cook was chefin’ up something special in Week 8 against the Panthers. Cook ran for 216 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries, a new career high and the most rushing yards for any running back this season. What’s even more impressive is Carolina came into the game allowing the eighth-fewest rushing yards per game, one of 11 teams under 100. Per Next Gen stats, Cook generated 121 rushing yards over expected, the fourth-most in a game since 2018. After a few stinkers in a row, some were questioning his status as an elite fantasy running back. Not anymore.

Wide Receiver

Khalil Shakir: START, WR3
Keon Coleman: SIT
Joshua Palmer: SIT

You’d think with such a monster game from Cook, there wouldn’t be anything left for any other Bill, let alone a wide receiver. But Khalil Shakir said “NAH NAH” and had himself a day with seven targets, six catches for 88 yards and a touchdown. A touchdown of the YAC variety, taking a yard pass from Allen to the house for a 54-yard tuddy. Per Next Gen stats, Shakir’s top speed on the play was 20.4 mph.

Shakir had been a bit of a disappointment to start the season despite being Allen’s most-targeted receiver. But he’s averaging more than six targets per game over Buffalo’s last four and 14 or more fantasy points in three of his last five games. He’s a rock-solid WR3 whose floor and ceiling seem to be on the rise. He’s the only Bills receiver you can start in fantasy.

Tight End

Dalton Kincaid: START, TE1

Dalton Kincaid disappointed in his first game back from injury, catching just one pass for 23 yards against the Panthers. Kincaid could have a hard time bouncing back against Kansas City, which is giving up the fourth-fewest points to the position. Nevertheless, he’s been one of Allen’s most trusted targets this season, and in a game with a total of 52.5, there’s plenty of upside in starting him. Kincaid is TE10 in my rankings this week.
