Sit or Start recommendations for EVERY fantasy-relevant player in Week 9 of the 2025 NFL season!

Game Info

Kickoff: Monday, November 3, 2025, 8:15 p.m. ET

Location: AT&T Stadium, Arlington, TX

Network: ABC

Arizona Cardinals

Quarterback

Kyler Murray: START, QB1

If a quarterback is playing against the Cowboys in fantasy, you start them. Period.

Running Back

Bam Knight: START, RB2
Emari Demercado: SIT

With the release (and signing to the practice squad) of Michael Carter, Bam Knight is all but guaranteed the majority of touches until the return of Trey Benson. He’s a rock-solid volume-based RB2 against a Dallas defense on “Monday Night Football” that is allowing the third-most points to the position.

Wide Receiver

Marvin Harrison Jr.: START, WR2
Zay Jones: SIT
Michael Wilson: SIT

Marvin Harrison Jr. has back-to-back games with under 10 fantasy points, albeit he left Week 6 early with a concussion. If there was ever a get-right game for the underwhelming sophomore receiver, it’s against Dallas. The Cowboys have allowed the most fantasy points to the position. Even in the best matchup possible, no other Arizona pass catcher is consistent enough to gamble on starting.

Tight End

Trey McBride: START, TE1

Trey McBride had two receiving touchdowns in his full 2024 season with Murray at quarterback. In just two games with Jacoby Brissett throwing him the ball, he has already racked up three receiving touchdowns.

McBride is locked into the TE1 conversation with or without Murray due to his guaranteed volume. However, it will be incredibly interesting to see if Murray continues to shortchange McBride in the touchdown department when he returns against the Cowboys.

Defense/Special Teams

Arizona Cardinals: SIT

The Cowboys are one of three teams scoring 30 or more points per game.

Dallas Cowboys

Quarterback

Dak Prescott: START, QB1

I probably don’t have to mention starting Dak Prescott, but did you know he was born in 1993, the same year the original “Jurassic Park” brought dinosaurs back to life?

Running Back

Javonte Williams: START, RB1
Jaydon Blue: SIT

You already know to start Javonte Williams, but did you know he was born in 2000, the same year “Leprechaun in the Hood” (starring Ice-T) was released?

Wide Receiver

CeeDee Lamb: START, WR1
George Pickens: START, WR2

Clearly, you’re playing CeeDee Lamb, but did you know he was born in 1999, the same year the sci-fi horror film “Virus” (starring Jamie Lee Curtis) was released? Although George Pickens hasn’t scored a touchdown since the return of Lamb, he’s still seen 15 targets over the two games and remains a matchup-proof must-start.

Tight End

Jake Ferguson: START, TE1

Yes, the TE1 was shut out on National Tight Ends Day. Yes, you’re still starting him against the Cardinals, who allow the sixth-most points to the position.

Defense/Special Teams

Dallas Cowboys: SIT

The Cowboys are one of three teams allowing 30 or more points per game.
