Atlanta Falcons
Quarterback
Kirk Cousins: Start, QB1
Cousins has had a bit of a rollercoaster first season for the Falcons in terms of fantasy production. The Falcons look to be real contenders in their division, and in Week 10, they face a Saints defense that just traded away its top cornerback in Marshon Lattimore. I expect the Falcons to come out hot in this one, and while I don’t know if Cousins will quite hit the 4 and 3 touchdown marks he has the last two games, you can expect him to be relying heavily on his top pass catchers in Drake London, Darnell Mooney, and Kyle Pitts. He is firmly in the QB1 conversation this week.
Running Back
Bijan Robinson: Start, RB1
Tyler Allgeier: Sit
Don’t look now, but Bijan Robinson’s slow start is barely visible in the rearview mirror as he has been the RB1 in PPG across his last four games. He hasn’t fallen under 100 yards in any of those games and has scored four touchdowns. The interesting part is that Robinson is doing this while seeing over 70% of the snap share one time. Against a collapsing New Orleans team, Bijan should be a locked in RB1 through his bye week in Week 12. Tyler Allgeier has become something of an afterthought. He has some FLEX viability some weeks, but he is not someone to rely on unless you are missing multiple players to bye weeks or injury.
Wide Receiver
Drake London: Start, WR1
Darnell Mooney: Start, WR2
The Falcons wide receivers have been studs this season. Drake London has been unlocked by Kirk Cousins, and Darnell Mooney has become a post-hype darling. London is dealing with a minor hip injury, but reports out of Atlanta don’t expect it to cause him to miss any time. He is averaging 9 targets per game in games where he didn’t leave due to injury. He has scored six times this season, which is a mark he has only matched during both of his first two seasons combined. Expect London to continue to dominate. Mooney has put together one of the best seasons of his career in his first season in Atalanta and is on pace for his second time eclipsing 1,000 receiving yards. The Saints just traded their best and arguably only weapon in their secondary in Marshon Lattimore. This will benefit London, of course, but Cousins has chemistry with Mooney, who is averaging over seven targets a game since Week 2. He is currently my WR18 on the week and has a chance to surpass that if London is not able to suit up this week. Check back on Saturday for the List update for more details.
Tight End
Kyle Pitts: Start, TE1
Pitts fell back to earth last week after four strong weeks. In Week 10, you can expect something of a bounceback as the Saints have been a softer matchup against tight ends this season and are likely to be even more susceptible in a post-Lattimore era. I would still like to see Pitts see an 18+% target share more consistently and even average closer to 75% snap share than his current 70%. Even further, an increase in his route participation would go a long way. Pitts is my TE2 this week, with the assumption that London may be limited just enough for Pitts to see more work.
New Orleans Saints
Quarterback
Derek Carr: Sit
Just don’t do it.
Running Back
Alvin Kamara: Start, RB1
Vintage Alvin Kamara has shown up recently as the Saints lean even heavier on their veteran running back. Kamara is currently the RB2 on the season and has only fallen outside of the top 15 running backs three times and the top 24 running backs once. He is one of the safest running backs in fantasy football right now. The Saints are also going to be without Chris Olave for the next few weeks at least, which means Kamara will likely continue to lead the team in target share.
Wide Receiver
Sit All
Chris Olave and Rashid Shaheed are out. Derek Carr is the quarterback. No need to say more here.
Tight End
Taysom Hill: Sit
Taysom Hill had a strong game last week, finishing as the TE5. He caught four of five targets while also seeing five carries. Hill is my TE15 on the week, but he populates a tier that goes up to TE9 there are a lot of tight ends on bye this week, so while I do think he is a sit, assuming your regular starter is active, he is a fine streaming option at the position.
