Buffalo Bills
Quarterback
Josh Allen: Start, QB1
Don’t think too much about it. Josh Allen continues to be one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL and fantasy football. In Week 10, he faces a bottom-third defense against opposing quarterbacks. Fire him up and enjoy the win at quarterback.
Running Back
James Cook: Start, RB2
Ray Davis: FLEX Option, RB3
James Cook is stuck in the 50-55% snap share range. He still is the first option out of the backfield, which will keep him relevant each and every week. He is averaging his worst yards per carry of his career, but that is not something to be overly concerned about, especially when you account for the fact that he has scored 3x his rushing touchdowns total in his career this season and is currently on pace for 17 touchdowns this season. Ray Davis has seen limited opportunities, but he has some low-end FLEX appeal in beatable matchups. I expect the Bills to pull ahead early so we could see Davis dominate the fourth quarter.
Wide Receiver
Khalil Shakir: Start, WR2
Amari Cooper: FLEX Option, WR3
Keon Coleman: FLEX Option, WR3
The Bills wide receivers are all viable options, assuming Amari Cooper gets back on the field in Week 10. The New Look Bills offense spreads the ball around well and gets everyone involved enough for them to contribute to your matchups but rarely enough to win you the week. The one caveat here would be if Cooper misses another game, Shakir would shoot up to the high end of the WR2 range this week.
Tight End
Dalton Kincaid: Start, TE1
Dalton Kincaid led the team in targets last week, and he has seen at least six targets since week four. He has not quite been the playmaker that many were expecting outside of a few flashes. He will need to improve his route running and what he has shown after the catch if he is going to take the next step. The good news is the Colts are abysmal against opposing tight ends, and Kincaid should be in store for 6-10 targets. If he does have a breakout week, he may be a strong sell-high candidate if you can find the right return. In Dynasty leagues, I am still all in on Kincaid’s talent, and he may be a prime buy low with his production being so rocky all season long.
Indianapolis Colts
Quarterback
Joe Flacco: Sit
Joe Flacco’s shine has faded, and facing a defense that ranks eighth most challenging among opposing quarterbacks. He falls outside the QB2 range for me in Week 10.
Running Back
Jonathan Taylor: Start, RB1
If there is one area of the Bills defense offenses can attack, it’s their run defense. Jonathan Taylor is probably the most underrated running back in the NFL right now, which sounds insane to even type. He has dealt with injury this season, but Taylor has been an RB1 for three separate weeks and has only fallen outside the top 30 running backs once. Another point in Taylors favor is that he continues to have a nose for the end zone. Taylor comes in as my RB10 on the week, and that may still be too low if the Colts return to giving him 20+ touches per game. Taylor also has a favorable schedule for the rest of the season and is a great trade candidate if you can get it done before the Week 10 games start.
Wide Receiver
Josh Downs: Start, WR2
Michael Pittman: FLEX Option, WR4
Josh Downs continues to be the top target earner for the Colts, averaging 8 targets per game. He is an elite separator with vice grips for hands; you can expect Downs to be leading the way in Week 10. The Bills secondary has been stout this year against the pass, so Downs will be more than likely a volume play only. Pittman has been a disappointment this year. Between Anthony Richardson and Joe Flacco, Pittman has not been able to get going for much of the season. He had his best finish in Week 4, where he exceeded 15 points, a mark he has only eclipsed once all year.
Tight End
Sit All
The options at tight end for the Colts are too transient to be actual options for fantasy football. Feel free to look anywhere else.
