New York Giants
Quarterback
Jaxson Dart: START, QB1 (Needs to clear concussion protocol)
Jameis Winston: START (in Superflex), Borderline QB1 *If Dart OUT
Jaxon Dart was expected to practice and the team optimistic he’ll return against the Lions. Dart was having the best passing game of his career before leaving Week 10 with a concussion, and he’s shown enough with his legs to be considered a must-start. If he’s unable to go, fire up this guy against a defense that’s allowed 18 passing touchdowns this season.

Running Back
Tyrone Tracy Jr.: FLEX, RB3
Devin Singletary: SIT
The Giants’ backfield work was divvied out pretty much how I anticipated. Tyrone Tracy saw slightly more work, 19 carries to Devin Singletary‘s 16. Tracy handled the work through the air, and Singletary handled all the goal-line work. But my attitude towards Tracy has shifted significantly after just one game with Mike Kafka as the head coach. Tracy was by far the best back on the field, averaging 2 more yards per carry and with season highs of 88 rushing yards and 51 receiving yards. The problem is that Singletary is still stealing the scores, handling all four of the goal-line carries. Entering the game, I was avoiding both because of the way the workload is divided up between the two. But I was impressed with Tracy’s performance today enough to consider him a FLEX option in PPR leagues. I still want no part of Singletary, especially since the Lions have allowed just one rushing touchdown since Week 5.
Wide Receiver
Wan’Dale Robinson: START, WR2
Darius Slayton: FLEX, WR4 *Watch Practice Reports*
Isaiah Hodgins: SIT
Darius Slayton missed Week 11 after back-to-back games over 11 fantasy points, and there’s no update as to his availability for Week 12 at the time of writing. He was ruled out on Friday last week, so I wouldn’t be shocked to see him miss another game. If he winds up active, he’s worth a shot as a dart throw FLEX. Wan’Dale Robinson has a 30.6% target share over the Giants’ last three games and is locked in as a volume-based WR2 in any matchup. The Giants re-signed old friend Isaiah Hodgins, who would proceed to lead the team in receiving against the Packers, catching five of six targets for 57 yards. He’s an intriguing name to watch considering the Giants’ lack of weapons, but an end-of-bench stash at best.
Tight End
Theo Johnson: START, TE1 | STREAMER (If Dart OUT)
It’s a middling matchup, but if Dart is back under center, fire up Theo Johnson. The second-year tight end has become a favorite target for Dart and averaged 11.9 fantasy points in games started by the rookie QB.
Defense/Special Teams
New York Giants: SIT
The Lions average 33.5 points per game at home.
Detroit Lions
Quarterback
Jared Goff: START, QB1
Sometimes, it really is simple. Jared Goff plays much better indoors. Since joining the Lions in 2021, Goff’s passing stats go down rather significantly when playing in fresh air.

Goff’s pass attempts are virtually the same, but his touchdowns drop by 30.3%, passing yards by 7%, and his fantasy points by about 16%. The good news? Goff doesn’t play outdoors again until Week 18, and only sickos play fantasy in Week 18. (We still love you, sickos.)
Goff should bounce back in a big way against the Giants, who allow the third most fantasy points to the position. If your trade deadline hasn’t passed yet, I like Goff as a buy low with Green Bay and Dallas up next.

Running Back
Jahmyr Gibbs: START, RB1
David Montgomery: START, RB2
You don’t need my advice to start Tuscaloosa product Jahmyr Gibbs, but did you know that the legendary novelist Harper Lee, famous for her Pulitzer Prize-winning book To Kill a Mockingbird, is also an alumnus of the University of Alabama? David Montgomery‘s streak of double-digit fantasy totals ended at two, but the inconsistent RB2 gets to face the New York Football Giants, who’ve surrendered seven total touchdowns to running backs since Week 8. The G-Men are giving up 149.9 rushing yards per game, third highest in the NFL.
Wide Receiver
Amon-Ra St. Brown: START, WR1
Jameson Williams: START, WR2
Jameson Williams has averaged 21.8 fantasy points since Dan Campbell took over playcalling in Week 10, causing mass hysteria that the sky is falling and Amon-Ra St. Brown‘s status as an elite WR1 is no more. Yes, Williams has seen an uptick in target rate (14.9% to 18.1%) and routes run per dropback (87.8% to 89.2%), but that’s really not much of a jump. ARSB’s route run percentage has dropped by about 8%, but his target rate remains stellar a 26.4%, even if it’s not quite as high as the 29.9% he saw from Weeks 1-9.
Speaking of Weeks 1-9, St. Brown led the team with 13 targets inside the 20 and five end zone targets over that stretch. Jamo had two targets inside the 20 and no endzone targets over that same period. With Campbell calling plays, Williams has already matched the two targets inside the 20 he had over the first nine weeks, but St. Brown still leads the way with four and has the team’s only endzone target. Don’t fret, friends. Even with a slight uptick for Jamo and a downtick for ARSB, St. Brown is getting the most valuable targets in Detroit. I made the misstep of doubting Amon-Ra when Ben Johnson left town, so learn from my mistake. He’ll be just fine and still locked in as a WR1. Williams is an upside WR2 against the Giants, who’ve given up the sixth most points to the position.

More like Brock Wrong, amirite?
