Atlanta Falcons

Quarterback

Kirk Cousins: SIT

Kirk Cousins entered the Falcons’ locker room this week, quoting Thanos, whispering, “You could not live with your own failure. And where did that bring you? Back to me.” Well, I made that up, but Kirko Chainz is once again the starter after Michael Penix Jr. reinjured his knee in Week 11, tearing his ACL and requiring season-ending reconstructive surgery. If Cousins’ play against Miami wasn’t enough to scare you away from even thinking of starting him, Drake London was banged up as well and has already been declared out for Week 12. London hopes to return next week, though.

Running Back

Bijan Robinson: START, RB1
Tyler Allgeier: SIT

Bijan Robinson scored multiple touchdowns in a game for the first time this season and just his third game with over 100 rushing yards. Robinson took 23 attempts for 103 yards and two rushing touchdowns, adding four catches and 39 receiving yards for a tantalizing total of 30.3 fantasy points. If you have Bijan on your team, you’re obviously not mad at that kind of game, but you have every right to be a little disappointed. Why? Well, although he had just three attempts, Tyler Allgeier once again vultured a touchdown. A positive takeaway besides the big stat line for Bijan was that he had three carries inside the 5, surpassing the season total of two he had coming into the game. There’s no doubt that Bijan Robinson is a locked-in top-three or so RB in fantasy and the NFL, but he could be having a Jonathan Taylor-esque season if it wasn’t if it wasn’t for Allgeier.

Wide Receiver

Drake London
Darnell Mooney: SIT

David Sills V: SIT

With Drake London out at least one game, Darnell Mooney falls upward into the role of Atlanta’s WR1. I know Cousins and Mooney had a connection last season, but neither has shown anything in 2025 to make me think they can get going this year. Until we see drastic improvement from Cousins, London will be the only Falcons receiver you can start (when he returns).

Tight End

Kyle Pitts Sr.: START, TE1

Kyle Pitts Sr. is the only Atlanta pass catcher I’m willing to start this week. I guess Bijan technically catches passes too, but you catch my drift. In Cousins’ lone start this season, Pitts was targeted nine times, catching all of them for 59 yards. With London once again out and Cousins under center, Pitts is a solid TE1.

Defense/Special Teams

Atlanta Falcons: START

New Orleans is one of three teams averaging under 16 points scored this season.

New Orleans Saints

Quarterback

Tyler Shough: SIT, QB2 (Startable in Superflex)

It turns out Tyler Shough can chuck it. The rookie tossed the rock for 282 yards and two touchdowns against a formidable Patriots defense before the Saints’ Week 11 bye. Atlanta is a tolerable matchup and has given up 10 passing touchdowns in their past four games. He’s not in consideration for 1QB leagues, but you could do a lot worse at QB2 in Superflex.

Running Back

Alvin Kamara: START, RB2
Devin Neal: SIT

Last week against the Panthers, Alvin Kamara had just his second game over 10 points since Week 4. Kamara’s been a shell of himself this season, but makes for an intriguing start against Atlanta, which has given up the fourth-most points to the position, including the second-most receiving touchdowns to running backs.

Wide Receiver

Chris Olave: START, WR2
Devaughn Vele: SIT

Already a target hog, Chris Olave could gobble up a couple of extra targets with the Saints releasing veteran Brandin Cooks. Olave is the only real weapon at receiver for the Saints, with his target share offering a safe floor, and the big arm of Shough bumping his ceiling ever so slightly up. Olave’s a weekly WR2 regardless of matchup.

Tight End

Juwan Johnson: START, TE1

Juwan Johnson has back-to-back games with a touchdown catch and has scored double-digit fantasy points in four straight. The problem is Atlanta’s defense has held firm against tight ends, giving up just one touchdown to them all season and only one over 54 receiving yards. Johnson’s involvement keeps him in the streamer conversation, but don’t be shocked if his streak of 10-point games comes to an end.

Defense/Special Teams

New Orleans Saints: START

Kirk Cousins. You like that. If you’re a defense playing against him, that is.
